In addition to our ebooks, Audiobooks, streaming movies, comic books, and magazines, we have a spectrum of online resources for free for anyone who has a library card. It s all online, so you can utilize them from home or the classroom!
Many of the resources listed here require a library card. It is free to get a library card; you just need to bring your photo ID and proof of residency (a letter that s addressed to you.) Some of the databases are offered through the library s subscription to TexShare Databases. When you have your library card you are eligible to access these databases. Simply ask a librarian for the login credentials. Here is a list of the resources that each block of grades may find most useful. Most of the resources cover multiple grade levels. Keep in mind that while some of the resources may be helpful for students, all could be useful to teachers. You can choose different reading levels for the articles, so if something is too hard to read, or you want more information, you can choose a different level. Here are a few of the databases that contain articles from periodicals that educators may find useful. Some articles are PDF downloads, others simply text, but all offer printing, downloading, translations, and citations.
