ROKlist2011 and ROKillus2011 There are two database tables covering published versions of the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám. The first of these, ROKlist2011, provides a listing of over 1600 editions or reprints of the poem, in different languages and translations, which we know either to exist or to have been identified by other compilers of Rubáiyát bibliographies. The second database ROKillus2011 provides more information on a subset of some 700 illustrated versions of the Rubáiyát. Further details of the fields and codings used in the databases are given in tables 1.1-1.4. The listings do not include all the versions of the Rubáiyát that have been published. In particular there are additional versions included in the key bibliographies compiled by Potter and Coumans, and many reprints have been omitted. But the listings do cover a large proportion of the new editions produced over 150 years. Full information on illustrations is only given for a selection of illustrated versions of FitzGerald s Rubáiyát.
