Pre Nursery, K1 Send My Spinach Douglas Florian Send my spinach Off to Spain Parcel post it On a train. Mail it, Sail it, On a ship. Just don t let it Touch my lip. K2 What Does the Bee Do? Christina Rossetti What does the bee do? Bring home honey. And what does Father do? Bring home money. And what does Mother do? Lay out the money. And what does baby do? Eat up the honey.

K3 John Foster In a blink, fizzy drink. See you later, rollerskater! In a tick, lolly stick. See you later, mashed potato! In an hour, cauliflower. In a smile, crocodile. Primary 1 & 2 Upside Down Aileen Fisher It s funny how beetles and creatures like that can walk upside down as well as walk flat; They crawl on a ceiling and climb on a wall without any practice or trouble at all, While I have been trying for a year (maybe more) and still I can t stand with my head on the floor.

Primary 3 & 4 My Noisy Brother Bruce Lansky My brother's such a noisy kid, when he eats soup he slurps. When he drinks milk he gargles. And after meals he burps. He cracks his knuckles when he's bored. He whistles when he walks. He snaps his fingers when he sings. and when he's mad he squawks. At night my brother snores so loud it sounds just like a riot. Even when he sleeps my noisy brother isn't quiet. Primary 5 & 6 Hallowe en Leonard Clark This is the night when witches fly On their whizzing broomsticks through the wintry sky; Steering up the pathway where the stars are strewn, They stretch skinny fingers to the walking moon. This is the night when old wives tell Strange and creepy stories, tales of charm and spell; Peering at the pictures flaming in the fire They wait for whispers from a ghostly choir. This is the night when angels go In and out the houses, winging o er the snow; Clearing out the demons from the countryside They make it new and ready for Christmastide.

Junior Secondary My Shining Star Cindy You came to me When I needed a friend Like a brother you stand With me till the end Helping me to see light I've been in the dark to long Giving me love and hope Reasons to carry on Giving me your courage Smiling now when I rise From wisdom you shared Sparkle returned to my eyes Your shoulder I lean on You're my shining star You lend me your strength Lifting me up from afar How do I thank you For what you've given me Words do not seem enough For what you made me see So just for you alone My arms I do extend Giving you all my love Forever my brother, my friend

Senior Secondary, Open Faith and Courage In Life Angie Flores In life there are people that will hurt us and cause us pain, but we must learn to forgive and forget and not hold grudges. In life there are mistakes we will make, but we must learn from our wrongs and grow from them. In life there are regrets we will have to live with, but we must learn to leave the past behind and realize it is something we can't change. In life there are people we will loose forever and can't have back, but we must learn to let go & move on. In life there are going to be obstacles that will cause interference, but we must learn to overcome these challenges and grow stronger. In life there are fears that will hold us back from what we want, but we must learn to fight them with the courage from within. God holds our lives in his hands. He holds the key to our future. Only he knows our fate. He see's everything and knows everything. Everything in life really does happen for a reason: "God's Reason".
