2 GENERAL Stage The performance dimensions are: 6m deep.width variable depending on stage drapes up to 13m Variable height to grid of up to 6m Stage Truss Box truss system over the stage -14m wide. 6 IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ 1. Additional/Touring lighting, sound and any electrical equipment must hold a current Portable Appliance Test (PAT). Proof of PAT must be shown to Lisburn City Council staff before connection to mains. 2. The venue must to be informed of the use of any naked flames, pyrotechnics etc, in advance of arrival. 3. Crew requirements must be requested in advance i.e. no least than four weeks. Lagan Valley Island operates on a one technician basis, working standard hours. Any additional support will be chargeable. 4. LVI Technicians can not change/adjust clients Powerpoint presentations. 5. Scenery must be flame checked. 6. You may not screw any material into the floor. 7. Painting is not permitted in the venue at any time (i.e. sets etc). 8. If the Dance Floor is requested the venue must be informed no later than seven days before arrival. 9. If sound/lighting operation is required inside the Island Hall auditorium advance notification must be given. i.e. four weeks prior to your event. This is to facilitate the Box Office and ticketing changes, which are necessary. 10. Please enclose running times of your performance including details of any intervals. Events requiring anything other than basic operation of Lighting, Sound, Audio Visual or Stage Management will require extra technical support. Lagan Valley Island has a list of casual Technicians and Stage Crew and with enough notice extra support can be arranged (please refer to Services Hire List for rates). A technician is available to set-up equipment etc. but please note that any requirements must be planned at least four weeks in advance to ensure the best possible service and operation of events.
