DVBAnalyzer DVB Tools for File, DVB-ASI, DVB-S, DVB-H, DVB-C, DVB-T, Mulicast, Unicast and VoD.
Intuiive tools that enables you to Control DVB! DVBAnalyzer enables powerful monitoring and analyzing of all aspects of DVB/ATSC Transport Streams. This can be done from high level summary overviews, down to bit interpretaion compliance. By quickly idenifying different fields of interests, DVBAnalyzer helps developers, broadcasters, system integrators and field engineers during maintenance, development and tesing of equipment, networks and services. Via easy User Interface interacion, DVBAnalyzer enables you to quickly analyze: PID structures Service structures SI/PSI/PSIP structures ETR-290 compliance Timing Bitrates Teletext Subitling EPG Private Data Object/Data Carousels GOP structures PTS-DTS iming Buffer behaviour Audio and Loudness behaviour DVB-H structures Approach DVBAnalyzer is very modular and can be used in flexible and scaleable environments. DVBAnalyzer enables a wide range of users to graphically analyze DVB process behaviour and the impact of process improvement decisions. Different views can be chosen to get maximum informaion: PID Overview Grid Overview Bitrate Overview Thumb Overview Table Overview Descriptor Overview Media Viewer PCR Timing Viewer EPG Viewer Teletext Viewer Subitle Viewer Hex Viewer DSM-CC Viewer IP Traffic Viewer PTS-DTS Viewer GOP Viewer Buffer Viewer Audio Viewer (Samples, Equalizer Bars, Frequency Spectrum, Spectrograph and Goniometer Viewer) Loudness Viewer DVB-H Bootstrap Viewer DVB-H Time-slice Viewer DVB-H MPE-FEC Viewer DVB-H Services Overview DVB-H Time-slices Overview
Tools A complete range of tools can be used to analyze different aspects of Transport Streams. Most tools can be launched more than once, enabling realizeable comparisons. PID Overview Grid Overview A PID-oriented overview of the analyzed Transport Stream. Media Viewer This Tool allows quick analysis of PID paterns. ETR290 Viewer Watch or Listen to TV and Radio Services. Overlayed Teletext, Subitles and EIT informaion. Teletext Viewer Displays measurement guideline errors inside the Transport Stream. Both pre-recorded and live broadcasted DVB Transport Streams can be analyzed when provided as: Transport Stream File DVB-ASI * DVB-S * (Satellite) DVB-C * (Cable) DVB-T * (Terrestrial) UDP Mulicast UDP * Extra hardware required Teletext informaion available in the analyzed Transport Stream can be shown in different representaions: Graphics Tree Grid Staisics
Bitrate Overview Standard Hardware (PC's, Laptop's) is geing more powerful and cheaper. The DVBControl Toolset is therefore built using a sotware centric approach design. This way complete DVB systems can be built. Thumb Overview Visual overviews of PID bitrates and comparisons are possible in four representaions: Bar Time Stacked Pie EPG Viewer Displays live thumbs of all TV services in the analyzed Transport with their properies. PCR Viewer EPG data available in the analyzed Transport Stream can be shown in different representaions: Grid Details Table/Descriptor Overview Displays a graphical overview of the PCR (Program Clock Reference) frequency and precision. Overview of all used Table and Descriptors in the Transportstream. Layout Manager DVBAnalyzer provides a layout manager that enables complete customisaion of the needed tools in the user interface.
Hex Viewer Audio Viewer The Hex Viewer enables the lowest kind of analyzing: Bits, Bytes and their interpretaions. Hex Viewer is implemented for: Secions Packeized Elementary Streams (PES) MIP (DVB-T) TS-packets Custom ML Templates for Tables and Descriptors. 5 different display types can be used for in-depth audio analyzing: Samples Equalizer Bars Frequency Spectrum Spectrograph Goniometer DVB-H Viewer PTS-DTS, GOP and Buffer Viewer Displays Timing informaion about PTS and DTS imestamps, presentaion of the picture order in GOP (Group of Pictures) structures of MPEG-2 or AVC Video components and buffer behaviour. UDP Mulicast Output Besides analyzing Transport Streams in DVBAnalyzer, it is also possible to re-transmit one or muliple Services via UDP Mulicast. This way a service can remotely be viewed and used. Bootstrap Viewer, Time-slice Viewer, MPE-FEC Viewer, Services Overview, Time-slices Overview
