Why I live in George Lamb Dairy Production & BT Animal Science Everyone is so friendly in Pearson hall. The building is really close to Champlin and Prentice which is really nice. The RAs and RDs are also pretty awesome and personable! I feel at home in the quad and I met most of my friends right in Pearson. Plus, the rooms in the quad buildings are the perfect size! Mory Doumbia Business Administration Class of 2019 I enjoy living on campus because it is very convenient. It s a great way to meet new people and be close to important resources. I think the quad is probably the best location. It is close to the dining halls and academic buildings. Cobleskill and living on campus has made my transfer experience very easy. Everyone was so welcoming! P.S the Wi-Fi is actually really good. the Quad I like the convenience and location of the residence halls in the quad. They are close to the parking lots and the dining halls. It s also in the middle of campus which is nice since I have class on both ends of campus. You don t ever have to worry about car troubles since you can always walk to class. Foods not that bad on campus either. Why I live in Naomi Shibuya Plant Science Tarrytown, NY My main reason I like living in the quad is that I like waking up five minutes before class starts and still making it on time. I also work on campus with athletics and its easy to get to work. People in the quad are friendly so it s easy to get to know people. I also love the mac and cheese at Twisted Whiskers it s on point! Ciarra Ferrara Fisheries & Aquaculture Class of 2019 Knox, NY I love living in the quad because it is right in the middle of campus. It s close to classes and the dining halls. You also get to know a lot of people not only in the residence hall you live in but the others in the quad as well. I m excited for next semester to see the new updates in the quad buildings! the Quad I enjoy living in the quad because I don t have to worry about transportation to get to class. I used to commute to college and I would always worry about being late because of snow or traffic. I can wake up ten minutes before class if I d like and still make it on time. I also really enjoy the fact that I can take a nap in my own room whenever I have time in between classes. The quad is right in the middle of campus so it s really convenient. Friendships are easily made, and people are willing to lend a hand if you ask. You get to meet people from many different backgrounds, and that is a good way to expand your world view. The quad is a great place for students who have classes on both sides of campus, because it's right in the middle, and close to both dining halls and Brickyard Brew House. How to Apply: 1. Fill out the housing application on cobleskill.erezlife.com between March 27 and April 15. 2. If you have roommates you d like to live with: 1 person creates the group and invites the others to accept (everyone must have a completed application). 3. Receive your lottery time via e-mail and pick your room beginning at that time (person with the earliest lottery time pulls in the entire group assuming that there are enough beds in the selected room).
