Moderation total control of the meeting s flow The heart of Barco s collaboration solution for meeting and training rooms is the touch-enabled user interface that controls the central screen. All available sources are visible on this display - and the moderator, meeting chairperson or teacher, simply selects the ones that should be visible to everybody. Auto-layout highlight the real focus In standard operation, all source windows are shown in the same size on the central screen. But sometimes it s necessary to highlight a certain source by making it larger than the others (which remain onscreen as well). This is easy to do with Barco s interactive collaboration platform for meeting and training rooms: on the touch interface, you can choose from a number of automatically suggested alternative layouts. A modular solution Barco s interactive collaboration platform for meeting and training rooms consists of a number of components that deliver the user experience that best suits your needs. This modular approach means that the system can be expanded or upgraded at any time, making the solution fully future-proof. The only required components are the NRC-200 and the touch-screen interface the rest is entirely up to you. NRC-200 Digital encoders If the touch-screen interface is the heart of the solution, the NRC-200 is the brain. This networked room compositor performs all necessary calculations and drives both output screens. Its shape enables mounting in a 19 rack. ClickShare Barco s unique presentation and collaboration system ClickShare is ideal for connecting any wireless source to the total solution. Whether you are using a laptop, a tablet or a smartphone, you can share your device s display on the central meeting room screen with just the click of a button. ClickShare can be used as a stand-alone system, but it also connects seamlessly with Barco s interactive collaboration platform for meeting and training rooms. Every available content source is shown individually in the user interface, and the moderator can select which source(s) to display on the central screen. So, there s no guarantee that your source will appear immediately when you push the button the choice is always up to the moderator. Networked content coming from an IP camera, for example can be connected directly to the NRC-200. In order to connect non-networked sources, such as document cameras, you need a digital encoder. Barco s NGS-D200 and NGS-D220 were designed specifically to this end, allowing you to benefit fully from Barco s interactive collaboration platform. Touch user interface The moderator controls the content on the central screens with an easy-to-use interface on a commercial off-the-shelf touch-enabled all-in-one PC or tablet. This user interface controls up to 2 screens, and allows the moderator to select the sources and the layout.
