Supporting Internet of Things Activities on Innovation Ecosystems UNIFY-IoT Project Presentation AIOTI ALLIANCE FOR INTERNET OF THINGS INNOVATION Ovidiu Vermesan, SINTEF, Norway (AIOTI WG01/IERC Chair) Patrick Guillemin, ETSI, France/Europe (AIOTI WG03/IoT Standardisation Chair) IoT in the Smart Home ETSI Workshop 21-22 March 2016, Sophia Antipolis Open 1
UNIFY-IoT Objectives Objectives: To stimulate the collaboration between IoT projects, between the potential IoT platforms and support these in sustaining the IoT ecosystems developed Focus on complementary actions, e.g., fostering and stimulating acceptance of IoT technology as well as the means to understand and overcome obstacles for deployment and value creation. The "working partner" of the Alliance for Internet of Things Innovation (AIOTI) and the Internet of Things European Research Cluster (IERC). Coordinating and supporting the activities on innovation ecosystems, IoT standardisation, Policy Issues, Research and Innovation and go beyond the classical workshops and conferences. Establish links with CSAs on relevant other LEIT-ICT challenges and keep a close eye on different generic ICT technologies that are related to the IoT field. 2
