OCTOBER Tuesday 3rd House Singing Competition Boyd Campbell Hall, 9:50am-4:00pm Pupils compete all day in this fiercely fought annual festival of singing. Wednesday 4th Commemoration Concert Orchestral Rehearsal Harrow School Speech Room, 7:30pm Friday 6th Commemoration Concert Full Rehearsal Harrow School Speech Room, 7:30pm Saturday 7th Commemoration Concert with Harrow School Harrow School Speech Room, 8:00pm Pupils at John Lyon unite with pupils at Harrow School to perform a concert in honour of John Lyon, who founded Harrow School in the 16th Century and whose charity led to the foundation of John Lyon School in 1876. Please join us for an exciting programme of music, to include choruses from Handel s Messiah Parts 1 and 2. Admission free no tickets required. Music Scholarships All boys who take the 11+ and 13+ entrance examination are assessed for an academic scholarship. Art, Drama, Music and Sport scholarships can also be applied for. A separate scholarship application form is available on the School website. Music scholarships are available for exceptional musicians, in particular those who play instruments which will support the work of the School s ensembles.
