Add-on optics & inline illumination For the magnification higher 400 times, diverse additional optical components can be attached to the T.I.M.M. Either standard objectives of our own production or from others companies can be used. The magnification can be increased to the limit of light diffraction. Structures of less than 0.5 µm can be resolved. Other components are available for the justment of custom specific relation between working distance and magnification. At hight magnification either dark field illumination or inline illumination (Köhler) can be realized. For high reflected material, inline illumination can be realized with a single diode, if more light is necessary, a halogen light source can be used. For reflex damping, polarisation filters can be integrated. For special applications, we developed ultra long distance objectives which includes an extrem high focal depth.. Prisms & endoscopes
For some technical applications, a beam deflection can be realized by attachment of prisms. Adaptors and lenses are available, so that the T.I.M.M. can be attached to all available endoscopes. Filters Diverse IR, UV- and polarisation filters are available. In rough environments the optic can be protectd by saphier glasses and shower water can be removed by air pressure. T.I.M.M. - accessories - Software General T.I.M.M. can be principally operated without any software. It can simply be connected to a video monitor, television or other anlog video devices. The T.I.M.M. motorized with DCmotors can be operated by a handset with buttons without software. The analog output signal of our microscope is a CCIR, PAL or NTSC signal. You need a framegrabber, if you want to store image or use image processing software. You can use your own image processing software and we are well prepared to solve your image procesing proplems.
For standard functions, we offer the software Grab & Measure, it can simply capture images, stores them in different formats, labels the images and which offers simple measuring routines. The motorized versions of the TIMM, which are operated by stepping motors will be controlled with our software TimmControl. TimmControl TimmControl is a software tool to operated all our components that connected to stepping motors. With TimmControl X,Y- and Z-stages can be operated as well as the motorized zoom. For manual operations the arrow buttons or keyboard commands can be used. The function keys can be used to store to 240 different for dimensional positions. That can be accessed automatically.
