Music Choice This is an interactive service that enables zapping from one to another out of 40 non-stop music channels. The application offers the opportunity to navigate by using the remote control of the set-top box. Music channels can be sorted by preference of the user. The application also enables to recall additional information about the song and the performer. RTL i-text RTL i-text was developed for RTL Broadcast in the Netherlands. This application is able to link to content of the website of the programmes RTL News and RTL Boulevard to interactive TV. The service was positioned as a typical teletext plus product. This interactive service not only made it possible to send and receive e- mails, but to send SMS messages as well. For digital distribution of the Big Brother programmes, an application was built that could combine video coming from four different camera positions 24 hours a day. The user was able to choose one of the four to hear the associated sound channel. There was also an option to zoom in to one of the four pictures in order to watch it full screen. The same application was used to display four different live games of the Wimbledon tennis tournament. An additional service exclusively offered for digital television, developed by ITNM Systems. A service level agreement is the appropriated means for a user defined improved or continuous availability. Service level agreement A service level agreement covers preventive as well as corrective maintenance of the whole system as well as possible bugs in the applications. The standard rate is 7 % of the installed base per year. The standard coverage in the Netherlands implies a maximum response time of one hour during seven days a week between 9 o clock in the morning and 11 o clock in the evening. The response time at the location is four hours maximum. Spare material can be included on customer s demand as part of the delivery.
