- Do not alter the logo in any way. Do not crop it, change anything, or add anything. - Approved color variations are included in the download. Do not use other colors. - Size, placement and spacing are described on the following pages. - Do not attempt to replicate, imitate, or duplicate the logo. Nature Connects is not a LEGO show Two main guidelines are: or the company itself. Using the LEGO company s name in conjunction with anything else violates fair use laws. LEGO (the company) has nothing to do with Nature Connects. You can of course advertise that Sean s work is created with LEGO products, but you should market Sean s work and the show s purpose. Common mistakes include - Describing the exhibit using LEGO without mentioning Sean. - Giving Sean a job title with LEGO, e.g. LEGO professional. (Sean s title is artist ) - Adding LEGO to names of events, activities, etc, e.g. LEGO building contest. - Using LEGO mini-figures or LEGO bricks as primary visuals - Writing LEGO in a larger font, color, or lettering than surrounding text
If you are writing LEGO anywhere, you must submit it to us for review. The LEGO company s name can only be used to describe them. Using their name improperly could imply you have a relationship with them, which is not appropriate and will detract focus from the show s educational and artistic purpose. - LEGO must be written in all capital letters - Write LEGO with a registered symbol the first time it appears - Never write LEGOs. LEGO is the company, not the toy. - Referring to the LEGO company s work: LEGO toys / LEGO products / LEGO bricks / LEGO pieces / LEGO kits / LEGO sets - Showing a connection with the company: LEGO fans / Fans of LEGO / LEGO lovers / LEGO customer / etc Example: Calling all LEGO fans Example: If you love LEGO, you ll love Nature Connects Example: Sean is LEGO s best customer
