www.creative.auckland.ac.nz/operascenes Our thanks THE WALLACE FOUNDATION The Wallace Foundation has generously endowed the School of Music with funding to establish the Wallace Opera Training Programme. Renowned patron of the arts Sir James Wallace established the Wallace Foundation and the James Wallace Arts Trust, to foster, maintain, promote and advance the education of New Zealand artists and New Zealand people generally in the creative arts. The Wallace Opera Training Programme, directed by Head of Voice Dr Te Oti Rakena and Artistic Director Dr Gregory Camp, is a one of a kind incubator for growing the opera stars of tomorrow. Opera Scenes is the inaugural performance by voice students involved in the Wallace Opera Training Programme and this production was made possible thanks to the Wallace Foundation s considerable support.
