GETTING STARTED First of all, make sure you re signed in. On the green bar at the top of the screen, you should see your name on the right hand side. If it isn t there, sign in.

FINDING A COMPOSITION In the search bar at the top, search for the method you would like to find a composition for. In this case, let s search for Single Oxford Bob Triples. As you can see, we have results for the method, and 17 compositions. It is far easier and offers more choice click on the method result, not the compositions. There are other compositions that are true to Single Oxford.

FINDING A COMPOSITION, part 2 After clicking on the Single Oxford Bob Triples link, you are presented with this:

FINDING A COMPOSITION, part 3 First of all, on the top right, below the green bar, you will see five icons. Click on the left hand one, the musical note. After clicking on it, you will be presented with a drop down menu, consisting of the following choices:

FINDING A COMPOSITION, part 4 Choose the length of composition you d like to find. In this case, I m going to click on quarter peal, and so clicking on it will find me all the possible true quarter peal compositions for Single Oxford Bob Triples.

FINDING A COMPOSITION, part 5 Clicking on the quarter peal button (or any other length) will bring you to this screen. This is called the Extended Searches. It is where all of your composition searches are stored. As you can see above, it has checked 324 compositions and has found 15 true quarter peal compositions. Click on the 15 to bring up the results.

CHOOSING A COMPOSITION After clicking on the 15 you will see all of the true compositions of the specified length for the specified method, ordered by how much music is in the composition. Each composition is given a score, the higher the score, the more musical it is.

CHOOSING A COMPOSITION, part 2 To see a composition, hover it s title as shown below. This will show you what the calling positions are, so not to waste time writing out a composition you don t like.

CHOOSING A COMPOSITION, part 3 When you ve found one you like the look of, click the title and it will show you the following information:

VIEWING THE COMPOSITION There are tonnes of information that is available to you once you ve found a composition. First of all, let s look at the music score. Clicking on the music score will give you a detailed list of the musical rows in the composition, and gives you several headings:

VIEWING THE COMPOSITION You can see there are several headings such as combination roll ups and named rows. If you look at the right hand column, you can see in this composition of Single Oxford, there are 56 combination rollups, 56 four bell runs and etc. Clicking on the named rows link at the bottom will tell you what rows are in the quarter that are named (e.g Queens, Tittums)

VIEWING THE COMPOSITION The next thing to look at is the BlueLine Link. This gives you every row of the entire quarter, so you can look for pattens and what each bell does throughout the quarter.

VIEWING THE COMPOSITION The final thing to look at is perhaps the most useful. Going back up to the top, you can see that just below the title of the composition, e.g 1260 SINGLE OXFORD BOB TRIPLES, is a grey bar. On the right hand side of the grey bar is a cog. Click this to display the following information: You can see the coursing orders for the entire composition, all of the lead ends if you require it (saves writing it out). The default setting is to display it by courses, not by leads.

PRINTING THE COMPOSITION Immediately below the green bar a the top is a different set of 5 icons. Clicking on the right hand button will enable you to print it off, with the display settings you selected in the previous slide appearing on the print out.
