Music2Life gave us a multi-generational celebration of the power of grassroots movements to heal Mother Earth. So many music styles and voices coming together to declare that we can solve global warming gives me hope. WHAT WE DID Music2Life created and produced the New England Grassroots Environment Fund (NEGEF) Anniversary Celebration, a scripted blend of live performances, evocative videos, a local celebrity MC, and in-person testimonials from environmental innovators, activists and leaders presented to audiences on site and online. HOW IT WORKED The event boosted year-end fundraising efforts, launched the NEGEF Legacy Fund, provided a memorable video for ongoing NEGEF promotion, and elevated volunteer and supporter engagement and excitement around the organization s work. Ruth Hennig, Executive Director, John Merck Fund Music and sound must be part of a thoughtful communication strategy.
