1 Description 1.1 Overview The R&S TSStream muti-ts streaming software streams a number of MPEG transport stream fies simutaneousy over a singe IP interface. The individua transport streams resut in a high overa bit rate. To make the streams avaiabe on a standard PC, the R&S TSStream software does not pay the transport stream fies directy from the hard disk but first oads them into the RAM. The maximum number and ength of the transport streams depends soey on the PC's avaiabe RAM. For uninterrupted operation, TV receivers require a continuous signa. This is why R&S TSStream pays out a transport stream fies at the MPEG eve in a seamess oop. The PCR, PTS, DTS and continuity counter parameters are continuousy restamped. When a transport stream fie contains a seamess eementary stream, the receiver even deivers an interruption-free video and audio signa. R&S TSStream is especiay suitabe for feeding data into the R&S CLG cabe oad generator and R&S SLG sateite oad generator. This makes it possibe to reproduciby simuate rea-word cabe TV network configurations and sateite transponder assignments in the ab. R&S TSStream can aso be used as a signa source to test IPTV equipment. R&S TSStream features an intuitive graphica user interface. Status, memory occupancy and processor oad are continuousy dispayed. Drag & drop operation makes it easier to work with a arge number of transport streams.
