Based on the classic MGM movie musical and the book by L. Frank Baum, The Wizard of Oz has been enchanting families for generations. With all your favorite songs, including We re Off to See the Wizard, If I Only had a Brain, and Somewhere Over the Rainbow, this timeless musical will sweep you out of Kitsap and into a magical adventure. Follow the yellow brick road and join Dorothy, her little dog Toto, the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion as they journey over the rainbow to the merry old land of Oz in search of the great and powerful Wizard will he grant them their hearts desires? Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West and her winged monkeys as you rediscover this fantastic musical treat for the whole family, and be alert for some surprises.
July 29-30, August 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 2:00 pm Based on Disney s animated musical adventure and Edgar Rice Burrough s Tarzan of the Apes, Tarzan features heart-pumping music by rock legend, Phil Collins, and a book by Tony Award-winning playwright, David Henry Hwang. High-flying excitement and hits, like the Academy Award winning You ll Be in My Heart, as well as Stranger Like Me and Two Worlds, make Tarzan an unforgettable theatrical experience, perfectly set in our unique theater. Washed up on the shores of West Africa, an infant boy is taken in and raised by gorillas who name him Tarzan. Apart from striving for acceptance from his ape father, Tarzan s life is spent learning the ways of the jungle until a human expedition treks into his tribe s territory. After befriending the young naturalist, Jane, Tarzan struggles to navigate between two worlds. As he finds his animal upbringing clashing with his human instincts, he ultimately must choose to which world he truly belongs. All ages will delight in this epic story.

At Hwy. 305 signal, turn right, and follow signs to south Hwy. 3 (towards Bremerton) and follow directions below. From Bainbridge Island or Poulsbo: Take Hwy. 305 to southbound Hwy. 3 and follow directions below. 33Proceed south on Hwy. 3 (approx. 11 miles), and exit at Chico Way (before the Bremerton exits). Turn right onto Chico way, after.5 mile turn right on Northlake Way (first major road on right). Continue.3 mile, turn right at the Triangle Automotive shop. Bear right at the stop sign onto Seabeck Hwy. After crossing the railroad tracks, go.7 mile and you will see our sign and parking personnel. You have arrived. From the Seattle/Bremerton Ferry: Exit the tunnel from the ferry and continue west on Burwell St. Turn right on Callow Ave N. Take the next left onto 6 th St. which becomes Kitsap Way. Continue on Kitsap Way under the Hwy. 3 underpass. Two miles from this underpass turn left onto Northlake Way (at Ralph s Red Apple Grocery) and follow directions below. From the South: Proceed north on Hwy. 3 (via Hwy. 16 from Tacoma) and exit at Kitsap Way. Turn left, go under the freeway onto Kitsap Way. Two miles from this underpass turn left onto Northlake Way (at Ralph s Red Apple Grocery) and follow directions below. Continue to fork in the road. Take the left fork which will be Seabeck Hwy. The trail to the theater opens at 1:00 pm shows start at 2:00 pm. Wear comfortable non-slip shoes for the 10 minute walk down the winding forest trail, and don t forget your camera. Come early and enjoy the picnic areas and refreshments available at the top of the trail and in the theater during intermission. Come early or stay after the show to hike to Big Tree one of the oldest trees on the Kitsap Peninsula and/or let your kids explore the Treehouse (an awesome play structure near Kitsap Cabin). Seating is festival-style to make the terraced earth seats more comfortable you may want to rent a cushion at the theater or bring your own cushion or short stadium-style folding seat. Dress comfortably for the weather to enjoy the show rain or shine. Invite your friends (but please leave your pets at home) for a magical, relaxing day in the forest.
