Baad Sot and slow in3l4 time, involving brie melodic segments in a arts. 3. nterlude A short introduction (in 414) to the layered rnelodies in the tinal segment. 4 Rondo As each layer is added, develoment grows, leading to a codalike inale.. PRFORMANC SUGGSTONS. Scherzo should be light and tast with care given to balancing the active snare drum art (light sticks wi hel). Hold the ennata at 63 until the chime tone has uy decayed beore going on, a ortend o the coming change o mood. Baad should be layed with rhythrnic reedom. Give careul attention to lowing connections between sustained tones and moving arts, there are many. nterlude rovides a short, tranquil, quartetormat introduction to the our layered melodies used in the inal section. t may be layed soli (as written), by a srna grou, by u orchestra, or even ornitted entirely (in which case add a ennata to measure 101). Rondo requires balancing each added layer (at 8l12635). The short intersersed develomental sections, as we as the last eight measures, should be strong and orceul. Temi are only suggested; lay at a seed that uts you at your musical best. There is a considerable amount o divisi work in the violins; balance the arts careuy. With the excetion o snare drum, none o the ercussion arts are diicult and i necessary could be handled by string layers.
