HOW TO CHOOSE AN ABSCO SHED STEP 1 - SIZE Decide what you need to store and how much room you are going to need Determine the amount of space you have available If in doubt, check with your local building authority. Recommendation: Lay a concrete slab prior to building your shed. Add approximately 50mm to each side of the shed base dimension. Chamfer the concrete slab 50mm edge downwards by 10mm. This will ensure water runoff is kept clear of the shed. STEP 3 - COLOUR Absco products are manufactured from Australian made BlueScope Steel materials, and are available in Zincalume and COLORBOND colours, with white trim unless otherwise stated. STEP 2 - ROOF & DOORS Absco sheds come with either a Gable or Skillion roof. Some ranges come with single, double, hinged or sliding doors. Space Saver Range: (Page 4) have a sloping skillion roof designed specifically for small areas. The sloping roof directs water away from your home wall. Premier & Regent Range: (Page 6-9) have a gable roof and use a roof ridge beam. Premier sheds come with hinged doors. Most Absco products (excluding Garages and Highlander Garden Sheds) are suitable for construction in Queensland Cyclonic regions N3,N4 within 100km of the coastline North of Bunderberg. Documentation: For construction in cyclonic regions it is essential that you apply for and attain written council building approval before you purchase. Once you have selected your Absco product, email the model number together with your site address to: admin@absco.com.au and we will email you the corresponding engineering documentation that you will need to submit for your building permit. Absco will not accept any responsibility or liabilty, for any Absco product supplied or constructed within a cyclonic region prior to receiving a written building approval that may subsequently fail to receive final building certification. 25
