Atlanta Public Schools Presents SELMA FOR STUDENTS January 16, 2015 Details and Show times for Participating Atlanta Area Theaters (King Holiday Weekend) APS students in grades 9 12 are invited to view the Academy Award nominated feature film SELMA free at participating Atlanta area theaters. Students can show their student ID or current report card at the box office of any participating Atlanta theater to receive their free tickets. SELMA chronicles Dr. Martin Luther King s 1965 campaign to secure equal voting rights in the face of violent opposition. This film is rated PG 13 for disturbing thematic material including violence, a suggestive moment, and brief strong language.
