The configuabe goup MIX contos ( to ) have two functions:- The aux switches ony opeate when in one of the AUX bus modes; they change the signas sent to the goup busses fom post fade to pe fade. When configued as steeo auxes ony the ight switches ae active. i. They opeate as bus assign ON/OFF switches by way of a non atching push/push action with LED status indication. ii. They adjust the eves sent fom the input channe to the goup busses when in one of the AUX bus modes. The goup mix busses can be configued in thee modes:- MONO AUX, STEREO AUX o POST PAN GROUP. This is contoed on a bus by bus basis by the goba BUS MODE switches on the GROUP modues. When configued as mono auxes the eft and ight contos give independent eve adjustments fom db to off. When configued as steeo auxes the eft contos pefom a pan function with a constant powe (- db) aw whie the ight contos give continuous eve adjustment fom db to off. When configued as steeo goups the eve conto functions ae disabed such that any assigned busses ae sent at unity gain fom the channe post fade, post pan signas.

The PAN defauts to conto the channe pacement within a goup o maste steeo mix and has a constant powe aw i.e. - db at the cente position. The ST switch connects the post fade channe signa to the maste steeo bus via the pan conto. The SIS switch enabes the spacia imaging system which opeates in conjunction with the pan and image contos. It aso acts as a eft, cente, ight maste bus enabe oveiding any steeo and mono maste bus assignments. pan SIS ST MONO When the spacia imaging system is active the IMAGE conto can modify the action of the pan conto so as to pace the channe within a thee speake system. When the image conto is fuy cockwise the pan conto wi opeate in fu eft, cente, ight such that a cente panned signa wi oute to the cente speake ony and wi not appea in eithe of the eft o ight outputs. When the image conto is fuy anti-cockwise the pan conto evets to steeo such that a cente panned signa wi oute at equa powe to the eft and ight speakes. A othe Image conto positions geneate a composite bend of the steeo and LR panning systems so that the optimum degee of cente image focus and speake powe can be obtained. When the image conto and pan conto ae both set centa the channe wi be outed with equa powe to a thee speakes. onstant powe is maintained at a times so that the image can be adjusted duing the show without any peceived eve change. steeo c image mute MIDAS - - - - HS The MONO switch connects the post fade channe signa to the mono maste bus. The METER monitos the peak signa eve of the pe fade input channe. The switch mutes the input channe at a points afte the inset send. The switch can be contoed fom snapshot automation and by automute scenes.

The SAFE switches disabe emote conto of the channes as foows:- i. The SAFE emoves the channe mute fom the snapshot automation and automute scenes. ii. The FADER SAFE emoves the channe fade fom the vitua fade automation and VA maste fade conto incuding vca mutes. iii. The AUTO SAFE emoves the channe fom the snapshot automation system ony; eaving the automutes, VA mastes and assignment systems active. The SET switch is used to pogamme the channe automute and VA maste assignment. The centa contoe MODE and ASSIGN keys seect the desied automute o VA goup and the SET switch wi togge the channe on and off with each atenate pess. safe s FDR AUTO SET soo The switch sends the input channe signa to the PFL mono and AFL steeo busses. If the switch is pessed fo a shot time it wi atch on o off, but if it is hed on fo moe than second the atching is disabed and when the switch is eeased the channe soo wi tun off. As a defaut the soo system is auto canceing so each new soo cances the ast. This function is time dependant which aows sevea soos to be active as ong as they ae switched on at appoximatey the same time. The ADD MODE switch on the MONITOR modue defeats the auto canceing and aows mutipe channe monitoing. In this mode input soos have pioity ove outputs and wi tempoaiy oveide any active output soos. The input soos aso oveide any active VA soos. The FADER gives continuous adjustment of the input channe eve fom db to off. The STATUS eds ae used to show fade positions and the status of VA and goup assignments. The centa contoe MODE switches togge though the fou avaiabe states:- VA goup assignment, goup assignment, FADER position manua eca and nu, and fu automated VIRTUAL FADER REALL. FADER MANUAL REALL AND NULL In this mode, the STATUS LEDs ae used to pompt the opeato whee to move the fade. If the fade is not at the position stoed in the cuent ecaed snap shot, one/two LEDs wi fash to indicate whee the fade shoud be. A singe fashing LED indicates that the fade shoud positioned next to that LED, if two LEDs ae fashing the fade shoud be between the two LEDs. As the fade is moved cose to the equied position the LED(s) wi stop fashing and wi be epaced by a singe continuousy it LED. Once the fade is at the coect position a LEDs wi extinguish. db HS FADER POSITION HEK When a scene's contents ae being "checked" (see automation opeation) the STATUS LEDs wi indicate the fade position stoed in the scene by continuousy iuminating one o two LEDs as appopiate. VIRTUAL FADER REALL When in VIRTUAL FADER mode (see automation opeation) the automation system wi geneate a "vitua" fade, set to the eve of the input fade at the time the snap shot was stoed. The eve of the vitua fade is added to the eve of the physica input fade. In this mode the STATUS LEDs indicate the "position" of the vitua fade by iuminating a ba of LEDs stating at -.
