The calibration bar in the empty capsule magazine ensures that deformed or damaged empty capsules are already discharged before the filling process. The mechanical capsule cap scanning facility detects blockages in the capsule feed. The repeated occurrence of missing capsules in a segment bore is detected by the serial fault function. Any deformed capsules in the capsule magazine are blown out by means of a targeted pulse of compressed air and then collected in a bin. The capsule body scanning facility detects incomplete capsules during the closing process. No powder or capsule parts get into the production batch. Defective capsules are individually discharged via the 18 discharge flaps. The segment cleaning with blow nozzles reliably releases any adherent product and capsule remains from the segment borings and discharges these by means of suction air. This ensures thorough cleaning of the segments. 7

GKF 2500 ASB 100 % with online weight control Each capsule is weighed individually with high precision on the integrated control unit, providing high quality and a high yield for your production. The tamping pin pressure is automatically readjusted by an integrated weight readjusting facility with a pneumatic adjuster. In this way it is ensured that the dosing weight remains within the required tolerance limits throughout the production process. The evaluation software computes a mean value from the measured values and makes a target/actual comparison. If the tolerance limit is exceeded, the capsules are discharged. Intervention is recorded in the production report. The high-precision gravimetric weighing cells reproducibly determine precisely and absolutely the weight of the filled capsules. This principle compensates external influences, i.e. ensuring weighing precision. GKF 2500 ASB lpk with in-process control Random samples are removed consecutively from the filling process and weighed at preselectable intervals. The scope of the random sampling is defined by the user. The evaluation software computes a mean value from the individual measured values and makes a target/actual comparison. If the mean values of several random samples infringe the tolerance limit, the tamping pin pressure is automatically adjusted by the pneumatic tamping pin adjuster. Intervention is recorded in the production report. After weighing, all sampled capsules are collected in a separate container. The individual weights are recorded with their relevant positions in the segment. The weigher is self-taring after each weighing process.
