For this five day festival, WNYC takes-up residence at BAM venues to reimagine some of public radio s most treasured programs as live, contemporary theatrical engagements. Passionate WNYC fans and curious newcomers can revel in their love of favorite radio and podcast hosts at this unprecedented event. The line-up is a vibrant cross-section of genres and formats from storytelling, to music, to conversation including: Ask Me Another, The Moth Radio Hour, Radiolab, Studio 360, Soundcheck, Sunday in New York with Jonathan Schwartz, This American Life, and Wait Wait Don t Tell Me! Peppered throughout the festival are musical performances, panels, games, and intimate interviews with guests including Andrew Bird, Hamilton Leithauser, Al Letson, Jessi Klein, Jennifer Egan, and Mo Rocca. Additionally, there will be BAMcinématek screenings curated by WNYC hosts Brian Lehrer and Brooke Gladstone, a StoryCorps interactive center, BAMcafé Live performances curated by Terrance McKnight, and a talk with Dave Isay and guest Scott Simon. Nearly all shows during RadioLoveFest will be taped for broadcast on WNYC and on-demand listening on WNYC.org. Additional guests to be confirmed. Check BAM.org for updates. BAM is thrilled to present WNYC s inventive programming in all of our theaters, said BAM s President, Karen Brooks Hopkins. We are constantly creating new ways for our audience to engage and interact in unexpected and relevant ways. RadioLoveFest is an excellent example of not only BAM s pioneering spirit, but cultural partnership at its best. WNYC is delighted to partner with BAM on this one-of-a-kind celebration of the love affair between public radio hosts and our fans, said Laura Walker, President and CEO, New York Public Radio, which includes WNYC. BAM and WNYC share a commitment to creativity and innovation, and our audiences crave smart, thought-provoking programming. RadioLoveFest will provide an unprecedented opportunity for New Yorkers to see their favorite hosts in a concentrated dose on the stage of one of New York City s most groundbreaking artistic institutions.

Radiolab Trusts No One June 4 at 7:30pm Tickets: $35, $55, $65 Radiolab is WNYC s innovative, Peabody Award-winning cult sensation about wonder, discovery and big ideas. Co-hosted by veteran science reporter Robert Krulwich and MacArthur Genius Jad Abumrad, the show tackles topics as diverse as why Kenyans win marathons, what is time, and why left-handedness persists. Airing weekly on more than 450 stations around the country, Radiolab also consistently ranks in the top five podcasts on itunes. Onstage at BAM, Abumrad and Krulwich will be joined by some smart friends (and one crazy musician) as they guide the audience through a series of experiments to spot the betrayers, backstabbers, and brotherly lovers among us. Wait Wait Don t Tell Me Panelists, Peter Grosz, Jessi Klein, and Mo Rocca June 5 at 7:30pm Tickets: $35, $55, $85 Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! is NPR's weekly hour-long quiz program hosted by Peter Sagal. Panelists for this edition include comics, pundits and pop culture pros Peter Grosz, Jessi Klein, and Mo Rocca. Along with Sagal, they test listeners knowledge by deducing what's real news and what's made up. In addition to the eclectic panel of personalities, the BAM audience can expect a surprise call-in guest. Prior to becoming host of Wait Wait in 1998, Peter Sagal had a varied career including stints as a playwright, screenwriter, stage director, actor, extra in a Michael Jackson video, travel writer, essayist, ghostwriter and staff writer for a motorcycle magazine. Voices Carry: Stories of Inside Frequencies The Moth Radio Hour Live Storytellers, Al Letson, among others BAMcafé (30 Lafayette Ave.) June 5 at 8pm Tickets: $35 Since its launch in 1997, The Moth has presented thousands of stories, told live and without notes, to standing-room-only crowds worldwide. Its programs are renowned for the wide range of human experience they showcase. Each show starts with a theme, and the storytellers explore it in often unexpected ways. Since each story is true and every voice authentic, the shows dance between documentary and theater, creating a unique, intimate, and often enlightening experience for the audience. For RadioLoveFest, The Moth presents Voices Carry: Stories of Inside Frequencies which will focus on stories from the world of public radio. Poet, playwright, and host of NPR s State of the Re:Union, Al Letson will join The Moth team for this BAM event. Ask Me Another NPR and WNYC Special musical guest, They Might Be Giants

June 6 at 7:30pm Tickets: $25, $35 Ask Me Another is the rambunctious live show from NPR and WNYC that blends brainteasers, pub trivia, comedy and music into an evening of hilarity. Host Ophira Eisenberg invites guests and listeners, alike, to stretch their noggins, tickle their funny bones and to be serenaded by house musician Jonathan Coulton. Studio 360 with Kurt Andersen Guest, Jennifer Egan, musical guest, Andrew Bird BAM Harvey Theater (651 Fulton St) June 6 at 7:30pm Tickets: $25, $35, $40 The two-time Peabody Award-winning Studio 360 with Kurt Andersen, from PRI and WNYC, is public radio s smart and surprising guide to what's happening in pop culture and the arts. Each week, Andersen, novelist, journalist, and co-founder of legendary Spy magazine, gets inside the creative mind, introducing listeners to the people who are creating and shaping our culture on movie sets, in galleries, and on the internet. At BAM, Andersen presents an evening of music and conversation featuring Andrew Bird, one of the most acclaimed and inventive songwriters in indie music, and Jennifer Egan, whose novel A Visit from the Goon Squad won the Pulitzer Prize. This American Life: One Night Only at BAM Ira Glass with the Monica Bill Barnes Dance Company June 7 at 7:30pm Tickets: $35, $55, $85 This American Life uses this evening at BAM as a chance to try something it s never attempted before: an evening of true stories staged as radio dramas. A handful of these will be staged with actors, musicians, and sometimes dancers. One of the stories will be an original mini-musical by Broadway composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the musicals In the Heights and Bring It On. In another, The Monica Bill Barnes Dance Company will perform while Glass narrates. This American Life is a public radio show broadcast on more than 500 stations to 2.2 million listeners each week. Another million people listen each week by podcast. It's produced by WBEZ Chicago. Soundcheck Musical guest, Hamilton Leithauser, among others BAM Harvey Theater (651 Fulton St) June 7 at 7:30pm Tickets: $20 Soundcheck is WNYC s smartly-curated destination for music fans to discover their ongoing personal soundtrack. Hosted by John Schaefer, the radio show is a regular stop for artists working and performing in New York City. Blending intimate conversation, live in-studio performances, and audience interaction, Soundcheck reveals insights from songwriters, critics

and tastemakers. This evening at BAM is headlined by Hamilton Leithauser, frontman for New York music scene veterans The Walkmen. Leithauser and his new band will perform songs from his upcoming solo album, Black Hours, set for release June 3, 2014. This afternoon event brings the spirit of Jonathan s weekly radio broadcasts to the historic BAM stage. Schwartz will host the event in his uniquely personal and spontaneous way, featuring performances and conversation with The John Pizzarelli Quartet, Jessica Molaskey, Tierney Sutton and Cyrille Aimée.
