The eye catchers at the S[quadrat] booth 2016 will be three LED installations out of the new high-resolution series Sky. You will be fascinated by the pixel pitches 1.5 mm, 1.9 mm and 3.8 mm. High-end black face SMD LEDs ensure a high contrast and a breathtaking image result. The 1.8 m high, free-standing steles introduce the latest technology to the visitors and also offer the possibility to directly compare the fine pitches. Two further high-resolution innovations from S[quadrat] will be shown at the booth of the cooperation partner NEC, stand 4-R24: NEC LED LiFT LO15Si sized 3.04 m wide x 1.71 m high = 5,2 m² and with Full-HD resolution will be fitted into the stand construction, while NEC LED LiFT LO19Si will be mounted as 82 screen at an open housing construction to allow a free insight into the otherwise hidden technology. KU DAMM BERLIN Right from the start of this project we benefitted from S[quadrat] s comprehensive experience and broad set of skills. Replacing an installation of this size on a tight schedule is not an easy task, but with careful planning and professionalism we accomplished the refurbishment on-time and on-budget. Having firsthand knowledge that covers all aspects of the screen proved to be a key in realizing customized solutions, like an adaptive adjustment of the brightness to the ambient light or connecting to our digital signage systems. Another pivotal accomplishment was the adherence to strict standards regarding construction quality, fire protection and electromagnetic compatibility. Once we removed the scaffolding and saw the new screen for the first time it outperformed our expectations. Doubling the resolution in combination with this level of uniformity and color accuracy was an eye-opener. Most importantly: offering this kind of quality at the busy intersection of the Kurfürstendamm and Joachimstaler Straße was immediately welcomed by our customers. ADVERTOWER LINKENBACH It s a new record! The 35 m high AdverTower in Linkenbach at the motorway A3 between Cologne and Frankfurt is Europe s biggest LED advertising tower with its two 173 m² LED video displays in a 16:9 ratio. S[quadrat] GmbH was commissioned to realize an all-in-one solution, the digital advertising system including the delivery and assembly of the new tower. The lower edge of each of the two 18 m wide x 9.6 m high screens, a total of 345 m² display area, is situated at 25 m height at a giant steel construction on a 30 tons heavy steel pylon. The sub-structure naturally contains each four maintenance levels that are protected against falling, where the future maintenance works can be handled without any problems. At a dizzying height and partly in an icy wind our technicians fixed and installed the specially developed S[quadrat] SO [25RGB] NT Light module for both LED screens. With the pixel pitch of 25 mm each side www.advertower.com reaches an optimal resolution of 720 x 384 pixels. A total of 1.68 million Nichia LEDs provide reliable first class LED technology and a brilliant image result. The advertising content can be easily transmitted to the LED screens in real-time by the content management system PADS4 PRO-XPERT. The system-specific brightness sensor technology is in charge for the automatic regulation of the 7,000 cd/m² and guarantees perfect image quality even in changing light conditions. The controlling is supplemented by the unique, customized SX[TempControl]. Temperature sensors monitor the display modules and react as soon as the temperature is beyond the normal range that can be defined individually. The control room will be informed immediately and the LED display can be disconnected full-automatically. Therefore these preventive measures extend the lifetime of the entire display system and a continuous reliable operation is ensured.
