INFORMATION FOR BOX OFFICE This show contains Haze and flashing lighting effects The house will open no earlier than 10mins before Act 1 as we have a performer set on stage as the audience enter. If there is no safety curtain or tabs in your venue: the audience will need to clear the auditorium during the interval in order for us to reset the stage For the start of Act 2 we will open the house no earlier than 5 mins before. In this instance it is best to ask the audience to start to cue outside the doors so that we can get them in as quick as possible as we have all the performers set on stage ready to start the show TRANSPORT The show will tour in a 3.5t LWB Luton Van with tail lift Please provide a suitable parking space for the duration of our time at your venue STAGE Ideal stage area: 10m x 10m Minimum stage area: 8m x 8m We require a black box space including a black, crease free dance floor taped with 2 matt black PVC tape The set consists of three trucks on braking castors which the company move as part of the choreography. These are a simple flat pack style construction which bolt together. Please see attached drawing and method statement for assembly method. In addition to this there are 3 tables & 3 chairs and some small hand props, all company supplied. Venue to supply: Black box space Black Dance floor White Cyc Black Gauze where available (please advise if not) 2 x black serge legs to edge in cyc 1 x full black to create a cross over behind the white cyc, or if this is not possible due to US space restrictions and wings are not available, 2 x black serge legs to create exits 1 x tank trap style base to tie off the practical lighting fitting with metal lamp shade on a pulley system (lamp shade and pulley provided by the Company) VENUE STAFFING LX Rig, fit up and focus: We require a minimum of 2 house crew Performances: We require a minimum of 1 Duty Technician Get Out: We require a minimum of 3 house crew for 2 hours to start immediately after the final performance Please advise if charges will be incurred as a result of these staffing levels 2
LIGHTING Our Production Manager will re light the show and will operate for the shows. Lighting will be run through ETC NOMAD on the company laptop which will require your DMX input. LX plan and patch list will be sent to you separately. The lighting plan for each venue will be drawn up based on the supplied kit list. Please let the production manager know as soon as possible if there are any problems with the equipment or dimmers. Please advise if charges will be incurred as a result of use of equipment Lighting, where agreed, to be rigged, plugged and working before the company s technical team arrive The lighting equipment we will be touring with us: 3 x rechargeable battery operated LED battons which attach to the set using magnets 1 x practical light fitting with metal lamp shade flown on a simple pulley system 6 x birdies on wooden bases with 15amp plugs All lighting gel Haze fluid (for Unique 2) We will require backstage blues in the crossover (if applicable) or in the wings, the venue will need to supply these EFFECTS Haze will be used throughout this production. If you have any problems with this please inform our Production Manager as soon as possible We will require the use of the venue s haze machine SOUND Our TSM will lead the sound fit up and will operate for shows We will require the use of the venue s PA system. Sound playback for the show will run off Qlab in Stereo only. We will supply the mac with Qlab, but will expect the venue to supply mixing desk, PA and associated cabling etc. including Sub Bass. We require dedicated power exclusive for sound equipment for both the FOH position as well as on stage We will require a minimum of 2 x stage monitors, preferably 4 paired on 2 auxiliary sends. We will be touring 5 x Sennheiser wireless mic systems which will use Channel 38. If rehearsals or warm ups are taking place in an alternative space we will require the use of a portable playback system Comms We will require comms between the lighting and sound op positions 3
WARDROBE REQUIREMENTS We will require the use of a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board to be used on a daily basis. We will need access to these during the day and evenings. Please notify us if there are specific times in which these facilities are not available DRESSING ROOMS Minimum 2 dressing rooms required with space for 8 cast members. (5 male, 3 female) Full shower/toilet facilities required close to the dressing rooms. All dressing rooms to be supplied with mirrors, costume rails, adequate lighting and heating. Clean towels should be supplied to dancers for each performance. A supply of clean drinking water required for all staff & company.
