The Bennett & Giuttari Continuo Organ The instrument is based on the kisten organs of the 17th century (Manderscheit, Nüremberg). All pipework is of wood. The sticker action/palletbox lies directly beneath the keydesk, giving very precise control of pipe speech. A single-fold wedge reservoir on 55 mm or 65 mm gives gently flexible wind. The instrument seeks to be specific in its usage with mild voicing for continuo and in small ensemble and chapel use and fretwork panels with closing doors to control volume. CONTINUO ORGANS - TERMS FOR PURCHASE, PAYMENT, AND DELIVERY PURCHASE: Klop continuo organs are hand crafted and are available by special order with a delivery time of approximately one year. Bennett & Giuttari continuo organs are hand crafted in the USA and are available by special order with a delivery time of approximately six months. Special options or specification changes may cause an increase in delivery time. PAYMENT: Klop organs require a deposit of 30% of the purchase price upon execution of a purchase agreement. Balance is due just prior to shipment. Bennett & Giuttari continuo organs require a deposit of 50% of the purchase price upon execution of a purchase agreement. Balance is due just prior to shipment. The Harpsichord Clearing House will endeavor whenever possible to comply with the terms required by institutional purchasing departments. DELIVERY: Instruments are crated and shipped by air from our Rehoboth facility. Costs for delivery within the continental US will range from $1200.00 - $ 1600.00 depending upon distance.
