Learn about the Cujas Library As successor to the law School library, and given its extensive resources, the Cujas library is the leading legal academic library in France today. A patrimonial and research library, it serves the academic and scientific community. The library is open to professors, researchers, doctorands and members of the practicing bar. Thanks to its privileged relations with the Paris I and Paris II Universities, it also welcomes students and young researchers. Registration is done by mail (or directly at the library for professors). The I i bra ry seeks to provide services a nd collections of excellence to benefit all. All library users are expected to comply with the library use policies.
The Cujas Library covers all areas of legal sciences. A documentation center of reference, it offers the entire French editorial production in this field and has resources in foreign languages, particularly English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian. Specialized resources are also available in economic sciences (history and theory) and political sciences, particularly in the field of international relations. Moreover, the library is the depository for the official publications from the UN and European Union institutions. In all, there are: 750,000 monographs 11,500 periodicals 180,000 legal theses, from 1850 through today Bibliographies, directories, major dictionaries, digests, tre'atises and encyclopedias Electronic media (CD-ROMs, databases, etc.) that is directly accessible via the information system
