TRAVELLING WITH INSTRUMENTS INSTRUMENTS Your instrument list including with weight and dimensions is on the next page. Lufthansa has been provided with this instrument list and has advised they will charge $200 each way for each item/instrument sent us as checked luggage. It is the airport personnel at airport check-in on the day who have the final say as to what fees will be charged and this can be negotiated. We therefore strongly recommend that you go to the airport a few of days prior to travelling to meet with a supervisor/ manager to negotiate the pricing for your baggage and check-in management for your departure day. Don t hesitate to ask them to support the school and minimize fees for the students. Here is the link to baggage information which will relate to the checked instruments: http://www.lufthansa.com/us/en/excess-baggage If you should encounter any unexpected problems at the airport, then please call our after-hours emergency number: 719-963- 2018. Our air manager will be able to assist you. DISCOVER FRANCE AND SPAIN - YOUR WORLD OF MUSIC 4
