About the music Indigo Waltz is the erect iece to introduce new and challenging harmonies to your high school string orchestra. About the cooser Max Mueller is a cooser, cellist, and ianist originally rom Cleveland, Ohio. Max moved to Los Angeles in 2007 where he coleted his undergraduate studies at Caliornia State niversity, Northridge, ocusing on ilm scoring. During his tenure in Los Angeles, Max has assisted Academy Award nominated cooser David Newman since 2009, editing older movie scores or live erormance uroses. Max has heled reconstruct scores or such ilms as Out o Arica, How the West Was Won, Batman, and Edward Scissorhands. In 2011, Max ounded an organization called Music On The Verge. Music On The Verge (MOTV) is an organization designing music oortunities or students to exlore the creative side o music through coosition and arranging. Max has begun traveling with his coosition worksho entitled Books In Concert, where high school students work with college cooser mentors to coose short ieces based on excerts rom oular books or young adults. The culmination is a live erormance o everyone s iece with a narrator reading the excerts beore the resective iece. In 2013, Max ormed a relationshi with the Los Angeles niied School District to ilement Books In Concert as an ater school rogram in several middle schools and high schools in the district. While ursuing a career as a ilm cooser himsel, Max utilizes existing ilm music in many o his music education rojects. He believes the cultural ubiquity o ilm music is the erect steing stone or young eole to areciate stand alone Classical music and instrumental music in general.
