DAVE STAHL NEWSLETTER - ISSUE #93, 10/28/2016 Hello Friends! We had a very nice crowd for our recent gig at the Elks in Carlisle. Things went well. It was a good gig. Coming up is our return to Hebron in Lebanon next Thursday, Nov 3. We might not have our videos available but if we do, we'll start them at 7:15PM. The band will start to play at the regular time of 7:30PM. A couple notable gigs coming up after that. For all our Reading fans, we will be back at Building 24 in Wyomissing on Nov.11 when we will be featuring Pottsville native, Andy Gravish. Andy is a world class jazz trumpeter living and working in NYC for many years after graduating from Pottsville High School. Then for the Heritage Hills gig on Nov 17, we will have tenor saxophonist, Rob Scheps, back as our special guest. For those who heard Rob a couple years ago at the Elks in Carlisle, you'll remember how incredible he was! So we have a busy and hot schedule coming up for the next month. Don't miss these gigs!! Note: Don't forget to let us know if you are changing your email address! We can then keep you informed. Photos: 10/20/2016 Carlisle Elks - Carlisle, PA Photos Courtesy of Robin Work

Two special guests coming in for gigs. Andy Gravish first played with me back in the 80's as I recall. He was amazing back then and has continued to develop. He's a first rate jazz trumpeter and it will be a treat to have him with us for Nov 11 at Building 24 in Reading. Then we have tenor man Rob Scheps back with us as a special guest for the Heritage Hills gig on Nov 17. This guys just tears it up in any context. He is armed and ready to play at any minute. He's a very exuberant guy and he plays like that. The notes just come pouring out of his

horn. These two guys are worth way more than the price of the ticket. You shouldn't miss either of these guys. Also a note about the Hebron gig. We might not have our videos ready for the gig. Not sure at this point whether we will have them or not. In the meantime I hope to see you out for our upcoming gigs. Get away from all the election and Halloween stuff and come out to Hebron next week!
