VIP MANAGEMENT INTRODUCTION Architecture The VIP Management is the Global IPTV offer cornerstone. It is a modular, flexible and universal IPTV middleware. It allows to offer a user-friendly interface to your customers. VOD Security (CAS/DRM) Live TV PMS / Billing MANAGEMENT VIP BOXES As indicated on the above diagram, VIP Management is the interface between different content sources (TV live, VOD, Information, etc.), displayed on Set-top-Box and interaction with third systems. (Access Control, Billing, Dated Base, etc.) VIP Management administration is managed by a Web browser, allowing a real-time and permanent management. The executed changes can dynamically be modified without starting again the IP decoder.
VIP MANAGEMENT BACK OFFICE VIP Management V4.2 Basic / Premium / Optimum package Via the VIP Management V4.2 interface, the administrator can dynamically add or delete any service. Change the background to change the whole application perception. If not, click on the add button to access to the the menu. Hostess : A Hostess/front desk access which is limited to some simple features and that can only be used since the reception of the establishment. Administrator : An Administrator access which gives a total access to the software administration and technical functions. This Super-User access enables the administrator to modify anything at any time. Statistics : A Statistics and Sales access to measure modules ratings, services utilisation and sales. All orders are automatically forwarded to the billing system or PMS.
VIP MANAGEMENT PACKAGES To follow at best the market, VIP Management is declined into several modules according to IPTV needs and establishment size. In this way, any module combination is possible : PACK BASIC PACK PREMIUM BASIC : Built for basic IPTV reception, this package enables to manage free and paying TV channels, radios packages and provision them according to room categories. Zapping can be done pressing the right channel, navigating by channel logo, by channel menu or by EPG. A PC player is also offered in the package. Like any VIP Management package, the whole user interface is customizable. PREMIUM : If you aim to promote or sale any product or service from the TV, you will need a TV portal. Thanks to the different modules offered in the PACK package, (Portal, Info, Teledisplay, Room Services, Internet access, Radio, Express Check out, view Bill, etc.) you can measure all ratings and sales statistics. PACK OPTIMUM : This package gathers all modules from the PACK package in addition with Video and Music on Demand modules (VOD & MOD). Different versions according to the establishment identity can be displayed : hotels, healthcare, telecoms operators, corporate headquarters, ships, museums, civil and military residence Via the VIP Management V4.2 interface, the administrator can dynamically add or delete any service. Detail of our services Live Television & Pay TV Basic / Premium / Optimum package This module is the base of an IPTV offer and allows you to receive streamed flows from a DVB/IP gateway. Those flows can come from terrestrial TV, satellite or cable (DVB T /S / C) but also from encoded ones like a broadcast camera, DVD player exit, or an IP surveillance video. Radios Basic / Premium / Optimum package Mirror of the TV LIVE module, Radio module enables dynamic catagories creation and management. Depending on STB brands, internet based mp3 radios can be also managed. PC Player Basic / Premium / Optimum package PC Player module enables any authorised user on the network to have access to the TV Live via his computer. Compatible with PC and MAC. Video On Demand Optimum package This module manages a VOD movie presentation portal. Have access to all information (metadatas) : director, actors, summary, movie posters and costs... according to categories created in Backoffice. (Children, Documentary...) All the customer have to do is to enter his room number (or another code). Music On Demand Premium / Optimum package Via his remote control, the end user can look for titles, artists, listen to single or albums. This option is subjected to the mp3 support format by the operating decoder. Like all modules, you can create, edit, modify and delete as many categories as needed. Informations Premium / Optimum package For a Hotel group, offering different services through the a TV interface is very useful, (on line booking, development of customer loyalty, etc.) Thanks to its openness, VIP Management allows to simply and quickly create template based pages for a constant commercial animation.
Detail of our services Teledisplay / Hotel TV Premium / Optimum package This module enables the administrator to manage one or several STB connected to screens like multimedia playlist display TV set. In each playlist, text, video, website links, music, photos, IPTV channels can be added. The operator can provision it to few, some or all STB. Internet Module Premium / Optimum package This module allows an Internet access from TV, either typing the Url address from a keyboard or via the Backoffice from pre-recorded websites (web mail, etc.) We propose to choose interactive content platform (EOS interactive) which is formated for this type of browsing and specific modules. Room Services Premium / Optimum package VIP Management allows to also manage a range of information services dedicated to the Hotel itself and services, according to its category. Television is becoming an important resource to increase per room revenue, simplifying the additional services sales like : Breakfast Order / Room Service order / Spa and skin care booking. Wake up Premium / Optimum package The end user can directly program his wakening hour from his TV and be awakened by : - Reception call (via the Hotel information system) - TV itself (inner program turning on the TV) Timeshifting / N-PVR Option The Time shifting module enables to pause the program in progress and view it later. It though requires a VOD server to stock the real time recorded flows. You can record the program in progress, or program a record, and manage them, making a record public or private to the other network end users. View Bill / Checkout Premium / Optimum package The customer can access whenever he wants to his invoicing, provided interoperability between the system and the Hotel PMS (Property Management System) or billing system. He can also carry out, from his TV, the required express checkout.
VIP STREAMER 400 The VIP 400 range of products is designed to multicast on an IP network TV and Radio programs issued from satellite and terrestrial reception or from professional DVB equipment. The IPTV streams can be viewed using an IP Set-top box, a TV set equipped with an IP interface or a software video player running on a personal computer. The 19 modular streamer headend provides the flexibility to include as many streamers as necessary to broadcast up to 144 services (TV or Radio) per sub-rack. The input loop-through allows to build a tap line by using F plug bridges. Only the first module needs to be fed with DVB signal. The single voltage provided by the 19 power supply module can be cascaded the same way using DC plug bridges. The IP output ports of the headend (one per streamer) feed the IP network.
