Regal Entertainment Group will present Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in DIGITAL at 248 theatres utilizing RealD projection systems to provide true-to-life. RealD is a new generation of digital, giving moviegoers a stunningly realistic movie experience that engages the imagination, activates the senses and invites the audience not only to watch a film, but also step inside the story. Audience members will utilize comfortable, lightweight glasses to view the film's effects. These glasses can be taken home as souvenirs of the movie or recycled as guests exit the presentation. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs: An Experience will be available at 34 Regal Entertainment Group Theatres across the country. In, images leap off of the screen and into the laps of the audience, further enhancing the feeling of being IN the movie. This is made possible by a combination of 's powerful projection system - which simultaneously projects two separate images onto the screen - and polarized glasses that audience members wear to fuse the two images into a single motion picture. The Experience is powered by a combination of sharp, bright images, crystal clear digital surround sound and custom-designed theatres. Columbia Pictures' and Sony Pictures Animation's Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs will be the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese.
