TEGA CAY WOMEN S CLUB NEWSLETTER NOVEMBER 2017 Sharon Lothian, Editor From the President: Warm days and cooler nights. Fall is finally here! Our fashion show was a huge success. I would like to thank Judy Reed from Chicos for a fantastic show. Special thanks to our fabulous models: Nancy Ryan, Janet Ferguson, Pat Lindner, Valerie Soprano, and Barbara Williams. Thanks also to Gay Drevich for her photos of the show. Wait til you see our blanket project! Thanks to Betty Worrell and Ida Compaso for donating the fleece and to Karen Sutton, Pam Warren and Barbara Williams for their help assembling the no-sew blankets. At our next meeting on October 26, Penny Shepherd will demonstrate holiday table decorating ideas. Don t miss it! Marie TEGA CAY FALL FESTIVAL SATURDAY OCTOBER 21st DON T FORGET THE 4TH ANNUAL GARAGE SALE EXTRAVAGANZA!! Our sale this year will be on Saturday, October 21 st from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will be setting up on Friday the 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds of the sale will again benefit the Fort Mill Care Center. Please gather your goodies and treasure for the sale. Lynn Dulcie will be reviewing, "Circling the Sun" by Paula McLain. On Monday, November 13th we will be holding our annual author's luncheon. For information about the Book Club email Noreen Rothman at therothmans2@gmail.com The Tega Cay Lions need your help with their annual Halloween Parade There will be the following age groups: 0-2; 3-4; 5-6;7-8 and 9 and up. Trophies and prizes will be given for the MOST ORIGINAL AND CUTEST in 1-2 and 3-4 age groups; MOST ORIGINAL AND SCARIEST in the 5-6, 7-8, 9 and up age groups. The judges choices will decide in all age brackets with all contestants getting a bag of treats! Would you like to be a judge? We could use your help! The contestants are asked to be on the tennis courts (by the flag pole) at PM. Judges should plan to be at the tennis courts by 12:00 P.M. for their badges, age group assignments, to meet the other judges, and to get their instructions. We also need helpers to move around the group of costumed participants keeping them corralled! If you would like to volunteer for a specific age group or any age group or be a helper, please let Christine Lekich chrislekich@aol.com or Gayle Esarove gayleesarove@gmail.com know! We could sure use your assistance! The Tega Cay Lions will also be having the Pumpkin Painting (free) tent. You might prefer to volunteer there!
