Smart Scan TM : Octava s HDMI switch with Smart Scan TM saves you the hassle of fumbling with multiple remote controls. Simply power on the HDMI source you want to view and the HDMI switch will automatically switch to the correct port. If no HDMI sources are on, then the switch will go into standby mode. Configuring Smart Scan TM : In the event that you wish to disable the Smart Scan feature please follow these steps: 1) Turn On your HDTV and at least 1 HD source. Make sure LED is ON. 2) Press the manual pushbutton on the front of the unit for ~ 5 seconds until the LED flashes. You can turn the Smart Scan feature back on by simply recycling the power to the switch. This will enable the Smart Scan feature. Description: The Octava 4x4 HDMI Matrix Switch allows you to route 4 HD sources to any 4 HD displays! The 4x4 HDMI matrix allows 256 viewing combination of 4 HD sources on 4 HDTVs. Basic Quick Start: Use the remote control to select the Display that you wish to control followed by the Input (DVD, Settop) that you wish to watch. Short Cuts: The Octava 4x4 HDMI Matrix Switch offers several short cuts with the remote control for the most common scenarios. Number of HDMI Short Cut Sources ON 1 Switch picture between Display A~D. 2 Swap the 4 HD video sources between Display A~D. 3-4 Cycle thru all the HD picture combinations on the display(s) How Press A or B or C or D Press + or - Press + or Press - LED Indication: The Output LED indicates the OUTPUT that is selected (high priority). Remote Control Guide: Pressing +/- Increments/Decrements to the next available Source. Pressing ON/OFF Turns On/Off the HDMI switch Pressing 1-4 Selects the corresponding numbered source. Pressing LED Turns on/off the Blue LED light. For example, if the OUTPUT B LED is ON, then pressing channel buttons will switch the inputs to OUTPUT B.
