It was very quiet at there at the time. While they were enjoying the scenery, suddenly there appeared a brown bear; it was running towards them. In a split second Ipul jumped and climbed up a mango tree nearby him, leaving Edi alone. It seemed that Edi was not as alert as Ipul. He had no time to run and climb a tree like Ipul. Panting, and very frightened, Edi decided to lie down on the foot path and be as quiet as possible. He shut his eyes tightly and tried to breathe very quietly, but his heart was pounding loudly. He was very scared, but he tried hard not to make the slightest movement. The bear walked and stepped over Edi s body lying on the foot path. It scrutinised Edi s body with interest and nudged it several times. In the beginning the bear touched Edi s mouth, but Edi had remained very quiet. At last, it sniffed around Edi s ears, but Edi had remained very quiet as if he were dead. Eventually the bear got bored and not long afterwards it moved on, leaving Edi alone, towards the forest.
