Date National Folk Festival PA Specs 2018 Thursday 29 March - Monday 2 April 2018 Site Access Bump In Bump Out Concert Times Friday 30 March - Sunday 1 April Monday 2 April Venue Requirements from 9am Monday 26 March from 12am Monday 2 April 10am - 12am 10am - 7pm Contractor to supply a PA system, drapes, lighting, looms, cabling, power distribution, multicores including delivery, set up & packdown Staging will be provided (9m x 7.2m x 0.6m) Venue is 25m x 35m A backdrop will be provided - to be hung by contractor Sufficient power outlets will be provided Backline is required (drum kit & guitar, bass & keyboard amps) Stage Management Crews & Emcees will be provided This venue is an outdoor venue and cannot be sealed be locked Seating capacity = 1188 General Info NO VEHICLES are permitted to move onsite between 8am - 4am each day of the festival. There will be NO exeptions to this rule. Bump in must be complete by Thursday 29 March 12pm, and vehicles removed from site, or moved to a pre-approved parking spot within festival grounds Bump out cannot commence prior to 12am Monday 2 April You must provide the Production Manager of your arrival time & how many vehicles will be entering the site by March 1st You must also provide a list of staff names, wristbands required and staff roster to the Production Manager by March 1st Additional WHS compliance documentation and insurances must be submitted to the Operations Officer by March 1st, refer to WHS information below All contractors and their staff must complete the online induction prior to commencement of works. CREW Bump In & Out As required including Loaders & Riggers Current Rigging Licences and White Cards will be required on site Labour - SHOW 1x FOH Audio Operator 1x Monitor Operator 2x Stage Hands during the infinite song contest 1x Lighting Operator Other Requirements / Work Health & Safety (WHS) Note that the above labour requirements specify minimum crew allocation at any given time. It is the contractors responsibility to ensure staff do not work excessive hours and are given adequate breaks. A proposed crew schedule must be included with your quotation The festival will provide a backdrop for this venue, the sucessful contractor is required to hang backdrop All contractors must comply with current ACT WHS legislation to provide safe work practices & instructions to their employees. Relevant documentation including (but not limited to): Safe Work Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis/ Risk Management Plan, Engineering Certificates for Structural works, EH&S Management System are required upon request. Relevant insurances including (but not limited to): Public Liability, Workers Compensation and Professional Indemnity (if required) must also be submitted by March 1st to Operations Officer Contractor to provide fire extinguisher in case of equipment electrical fire All electical cords must be tagged and tested as per AS/NZS 3760:2010 In-service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment Page 5 of 5
