October 13, Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Choral Evensong celebrating Francis of Assisi, Friar St. Francis of Assisi (1226), the patron saint of animals and all living creatures, is a saint who took the gospel literally and became a devout brother of the poor and a champion for all creation. October 18, Friday at 7:30 p.m. Christopher Houlihan, Organist Co-sponsored with the American Guild of Organists, Indy Chapter Young American organist Christopher Houlihan is one of the brightest stars in the new generation of American organists. His Vierne2012 tour attracted international attention for performing the six organ symphonies of Louis Vierne in marathon concerts in six major North American cities. November 10, Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Choral Evensong celebrating Benjamin Britten St. Paul s Choir sings music to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of this English composer, conductor and pianist. Britten (1913-1976) was a central figure of 20th-century British classical music, with a range of works including opera and other vocal music, orchestral and chamber pieces. Advent Festival December 8, Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Indianapolis Pro Musica performs a capella choral music through the ages and majestic hymns accompanied by a full brass ensemble. December 21, Saturday at 1:00 p.m. St. Paul s Choir School Recital Choir School students perform classical and seasonal selections on their instruments. Festival of Lessons & Carols December 24, Christmas Eve Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. St. Paul s Choir sings this beautiful service based on the medieval vigil. Lessons tell the story of Christ s birth, while carols and anthems resound the message of Christmas. An organ prelude featuring Brad Hughley begins at 4:30 p.m. Festival Choral Eucharist St. Paul s Choir celebrates the Feast of the Nativity with brass and organ. February 28, Friday at 7:30 p.m. The Art of Improvisation Featuring young artists from the Jacobs School of Music of Indiana University Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and many other famous musicians were known especially for their improvisational skills. Students of celebrated IU Professor Bruce Neswick, will improvise on given themes. March 2, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. J.S. Bach: Mass in B Minor Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra with the Spire Chamber Ensemble IBO Director Barthold Kuijken leads this exciting collaborative project. The Spire Chamber Ensemble brings together talented choral artists from around the United States and Canada for a specific concert. Limited seating, advance tickets encouraged. The liturgy is presented with readings from the Passion Gospels, traditional Lenten carols, hymns and anthems. Festival Holy Eucharist April 20, Easter Day Sunday at 9:00 & 11:15 a.m. St. Paul s Choir sings festive music to celebrate the Feast of the Resurrection. Hymns and anthems will be accompanied by organ, brass and timpani. May 4, Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Three Choir Festival at Christ Church Cathedral on Monument Circle The Choirs of Christ Church Cathedral, Trinity Episcopal Church and St. Paul s join together in this momentous occasion. Over 130 singers will join their voices celebrating our Anglican tradition of great choral music. You will not want to miss this grand choral affair!

July 9, Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Nathan Laube, Organist Co-sponsored with the American Guild of Organists, Indy Chapter Laube has quickly earned a place among the organ world s elite performers. His creative programming of repertoire spans five centuries, including his own virtuoso transcriptions of orchestral works.
