Page 2 of 8 Friends of the Demmer Library News & Views by Secretary Deidre Mueller Everyone is invited to the next Friends meeting on Monday, February 3 rd at 12:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Library. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the Friends and consider becoming a member. The cost of an annual membership is only $10 per person or $15 per family. The money raised by the Friends is used towards new materials and Library programs. The Friends meetings are held the first Monday of every other month, lasting less than an hour. The Friends organize and host book sales the 4 th Saturday of each month. For just a few hours of your time you can help support your community library. Help the Demmer Library Grow! Page 5 of 8 The Demmer Library is out of space for seating, computers and shelving. The needs of our patrons for accessibility are not being met. Our building is showing its age and needs a patchwork of fixes and maintenance. Our renovation plans for the Library include: How can you help? Support the Demmer Library Building Campaign!
