Entertainment Showcase where over 130 parks & recreation professionals, fairs & festivals, museums, PTOs, camps, clubs, libraries, community groups, and other organizations will have an opportunity to experience a brief showcase of your act. The Entertainment Showcase will be held at East Hartford Parks & Recreation s Community Cultural Center. Entertainers will be divided into two rooms: the auditorium, which is dedicated to larger music groups, and the smaller room, which will hold smaller musical groups and children s performers. The smaller performance room remains upstairs on the same level as the auditorium and exhibit hall. During this time, you are welcome to purchase a tabletop exhibit. GYMNASIUM FLOOR PRESERVATION: Please do not slide objects across the hardwood floor. DO NOT SCRATCH HARDWOOD FLOOR. TAPE/BALLOON POLICY: Tape is prohibited from use on the gymnasium floor to prevent ruining the wood. Helium balloons are prohibited inside building. HEADPHONE POLICY: All electronic devices used in the exhibit space must have accompanying headphones to cut down the volume of noise in the exhibit hall. CANCELATIONS: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after January 1, 2018. Cancellations made between November 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 will incur a 50% service charge. Cancellations must be received in writing via email to info@crpa.com or val@crpa.com. LIABILITY: CRPA, Inc., its employees or volunteers, and the Town of East Hartford will not be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur to the exhibitor, nor to the exhibitor s employees or property from any cause whatsoever, prior, during, or subsequent to the period covered by the exhibit contract. This includes the period of storage during the showcase. The exhibitor, on signing the contract, expressly releases the above-mentioned CRPA, its employees, volunteers, and committee from any and all claims for such loss, damage, or injury. To prevent loss, small or portable articles of value should be properly secured or removed after exposition hours and placed in safekeeping. By registering for the showcase, exhibitors agree that their company and their employees will hold harmless CRPA, Inc., its employees and volunteers, and the Town of East Hartford. Exhibitor assumes responsibility and agrees to indemnify and defend CRPA, Inc. and the Town of East Hartford and their respective employees and agents against any claims or expense arising out of the use of the exhibition premises. The exhibitor understands that neither CRPA, Inc. nor the Town of East Hartford maintain insurance covering the exhibitor's property and it is the sole responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain such insurance. RESTRICTIONS: CRPA, Inc. or the Town of East Hartford reserve the right to restrict exhibits due to excessive noise, method of operation, hazardous displays, or for any other reason deemed necessary by CRPA, Inc. or the Town of East Hartford.
