Pronounced /WE DANCE/, the company was born through the funding of over 100 supporters of the arts, including Falling Pieces NYC. "Travailler", the very first piece of Oui Danse, received the REVERB award and audience favorite at APAP 2013. Inspired by the mentality of survival of the fittest, translating as to work, the piece showcases how the idea of success infiltrates, and sometimes pollutes, the mind. It portrays the circus of the business world, observing the compulsive behaviors of workers into their everyday routine with stress, repetition, agony, competition and desires of escape. The work embodies those elements through the dramatic use of props symbolizing success in today's culture. The choreography is approached with an instinctive and raw connection to emotions, mixing reckless, technical and pedestrian movements. "Travailler" is still a work in progress. Brice Mousset is a leading-edge French artist residing in New York City. He was brought to the United States by the world renowned dance studio, Broadway Dance Center, so that his avant-garde style might be exposed to the dance community. His rich and versatile experiences as a choreographer and artistic director have afforded him many opportunities to share his unformatted artistic vision -- creating works for operas, musicals, high fashion shows, concerts, circus, film, Off-Broadway productions, and dance schools. These experiences have sharpened Brice's vision and distinguished his voice. His movement has grown into a striking, unguarded choreographic style that accurately portrays the many sides of humankind in his company work.

Celli Contemporary Ballet was born from Enzo Celli s necessity to develop a new artistic research taking Botega Dance Company s story as a starting point. Based on Celli s great vision and interpretation abilities, Celli Contemporary Ballet is not simply a dance company but a reference point for the experimentation and development of contemporary dance itself and indeed the company, other than working for Enzo Celli, the company collaborates with other freelance choreographers, focusing on emering Italian talent. Celli Contemporary Ballet s dancers are artists coming from different backgrounds who share the same multifaceted study on contemporary dance and theatre. Emery LeCrone s Untitled (2013) was created for Columbia Ballet Collaborative's spring 2013 season at the Miller Theatre. LeCrone who has been resident choreographer of the Columbia University based group since 2008 and stepped down this fall to take on other choreographic opportunities has made over eight world-premeire pieces for the company. This trio, her last work created for the Collaborative, features three of Ms. LeCrone's long time collaborators, Richard Issac, Kaitlyn Gilliand, and Kimi Nikaidoh. The work explores the relationship between these three unique artists and celebrates the long and fruitful creative process LeCrone has shared with them. Born in Greensboro, NC, LeCrone moved to New York City in 2007 to pursue choreography. Ms. LeCrone s enthusiastically sought-after work has been heavily commissioned in New York and across the country. Last season she was selected as a New York City Center Choreography Fellow (2011-2012) and she premiered new ballets for The Juilliard School s annual New Dances program and the New York City Ballet s renowned New York Choreographic Institute. She also received a New Essential Works (NEW) Grant (2010), directed by Damian Woetzel, for the creation of Divergence for Oregon Ballet Theatre, created new pieces for the Solomon R. Guggenheim s iconic Works & Process performing arts series, and for Colorado Ballet as part of The Vail International Dance Festival, North Carolina Dance Theatre, and Minnesota Dance Theatre, among many others. In addition to participating in several prestigious choreography competitions such as the National Choreographers Initiative, The A.W.A.R.D. Show!, and Ballet Builders, LeCrone has previously served as resident choreographer for Miro Magloire s New Chamber Ballet and is in her fifth year as choreographer-in-residence for Columbia University s Columbia Ballet Collaborative, of which she is a founding member. Upcoming commissions include Columbia Ballet Collaborative (May 2013), Minnesota Dance Theatre (May 2013), and St. Louis Ballet (October 2013). Weekend II Saturday, November 9th at 8pm Sunday, November 10th at 2:30pm & 6:30pm Nathan Trice, originally from Detroit, MI, began his training in 1988 under the strict direction of Aulani Chun in San Diego, CA, at Mesa College. While training, he simultaneously completed his remaining two years of a four and a half year contract with the U. S. Military Naval service. Upon completion of his Naval contract, he was accepted into the Alvin Ailey certificate program. Since completing the certificate program Nathan has worked with MOMIX,

Complexions, Joseph Holmes Chicago Dance Theater, Kevin Iega Jeff, Donald Byrd/The Group, danzaiza, Burnt Sugar Arkistra, Forces of Nature Dance Co., his own group, nathantrice/rituals dance theater and continues to freelance with an array of artists. Mr. Trice has continued to receive commissions from the Ailey II Company, Dallas Black Dance Theater, The Herman Lavern Theater Group, Bermuda Dance Company, The Harkness Dance Festival, Aaron Davis Hall E- moves Festival, DNA S In The Company of MEN and Numerous Universities, colleges and Performing Arts High schools. She has been awarded residencies with Festival Oltre Passo in Lecce, Italy, Fresh Tracks at Dance Theater Workshop, as an Artist in Residence with DNA, with LMCCs Swing Space, as a MADAIR at the Stella Adler School of Acting and with Ballet Divertimento and Springboard Danse in Montreal, Canada. This year she was selected by Christopher Wheeldon as the first emerging choreographer for the Steps Repertory Ensemble and her commissioned work was presented at The Joyce, Ailey Citigroup Theater, and Jacobs Pillow. Gillen is on faculty at Dance New Amsterdam, Peridance Capezio Center, and the Movement Invention Project at Baryshnikov Arts Center. In addition to her choreographic endeavors, she dances with the Johannes Wieland Company at the Staatstheater in Kassel, Germany. SHANNON GILLEN + GUESTS is a Brooklyn, NY based contemporary dance company known for its bold combination of visceral choreographic values and complex, emotional interpretation. Grounded by rigorous exploration, Gillen's dances embody gripping physicality, both intricate and lush, that is drawn from the body's natural desire to communicate. SGG sees the act of performance as a collaborative experience and naturally strives to cultivate an intimate relationship between performers and the public. Often drawing from psychological trends, the work aims to intercept and divert audiences' thoughts and expectations, seamlessly allowing the unexpected to make perfect sense. As researchers of human behavior, Gillen and SGG are dedicated to the simultaneous act of self-realization and transformation. Gillen s dances are born from equal parts of experience, fantasy and from what at this moment is felt to be true.

Peridance Contemporary Dance Company (PCDC), founded by Artistic Director Igal Perry, has been a powerhouse of energetic and evocative dance since its inception in 1984. Mr. Perry, together with Executive Director, Yarden Ronen, has structured the Company to explore and experiment with innovative movement and design, while upholding the elegance and articulation of classical ballet, and with an emphasis on performing repertory by notable choreographers. PCDC is housed within Peridance Capezio's state-of-the-art Center in the Union Square area of New York City, with the beautiful Salvatore Capezio Theater as its resident performance venue. The Company dancers are all classically trained, versatile, physical, and extremely expressive. PCDC is excited to continue its nearly three decade-long dedication to creating and performing powerful dance that inspires audiences nationally and internationally.
