The observaory will be available for use by members of he Sociey, he college and he general public. There has been evidence of more and more ineres in Sar Gazing. Paries on Harris Hill have simulaed demand for asronomical informaion. Projec Sardus will provide he faciliies o susain and develop his local ineres. More pracical benefis will be insrucing young people on asronomy and research in space exploraion. The observaory iself will be a concree block srucure wih a floor area of 16 fee by 20 fee. The walls will be 5 fee high. The roof can be rolled away on seel racks o provide access o he sky. This design is proven successful. was chosen by Projec Sardus insead of he domeype building because of is simpliciy and lower cos. The building will be locaed close o he waer ower on Spencer Hill. On Saurday, February 14, we won by he score of 17-5 as goalie Pee Bliss was ousanding in goal wih nearly hiry saves. Time and ime again he frusraed he Horseheads aack wih magnificen saves.
