S9122 PWS BNC MALE CABLE MOUNT COMPRESSION CONNECTOR S9022 PWS N TYPE MALE CABLE MOUNT COMPRESSION CONNECTOR S9322 PWS TNC MALE CABLE MOUNT COMPRESSION CONNECTOR The PWS S9122 is a BNC male cable mount compression connector. The PWS S9022 is an N type male cable mount compression connector. The PWS S9922 is a TNC male cable mount compression connector. These connectors are intended for use with PWS S9046 low loss coaxial cable only. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS REQUIRED TOOLS Wire cutters Razor blade Soldering iron Pliers 11/16 Wrench for Tube 18mm Wrench for Ring 1. Remove all the parts from the packaging. Be sure you have one connector, one center pin, one rubber o-ring, one silver washer, one threaded nut. 2. Place the threaded, silver nut on the cable with the threads facing out towards the end of the cable followed by the silver washer and the rubber o-ring. 3. Using a razor blade carefully score the covering of the cable approximately one inch from the end of the cable. Next, filet at an angle into the cable, perpendicular to the one you just cut, until the end. You should be able to see the silver wiring inside. 4. Peel away the black covering of the cable and dispose of it. 5. Place the smaller silver ring (small edge facing outwards) onto the cable so that the bottom of it sits on the black cable. 6. Using wire cutters, cut the silver cable you exposed so that there is approximately ¼ left sticking off the end. 2
7. Peel back the silver threads so that only the inner rod is sticking out. 8. Carefully use the razor blade to cut the outer portion down to the copper piece inside. Remove this outer portion and dispose of it. 9. Place the gold center pin on the copper piece of cable sticking out. 10. Fold the silver threads back down to cover what s left of the base of the cable. 3
11. Place the BNC connector on the end of the cable. 12. To tighten, rotate the threaded nut into the body of the connector. Do not rotate the body of the connector in relation to the cable. IMPORTANT: These connectors are only for use with low-loss 50 ohm cable, such as RG-8X or equivalent. PWS S9046 25 ft or 50 ft or 100 ft cables are recommended.
