Quick Reference for Operation This document is quick reference of operation. Please read Important Safety Instructions of Installation Manual before the work. After installation/configuration, give this Quick Reference to the person responsible for maintenance and store it in a safe place. This product must be correctly installed in order for it to perform and function sufficiently, and to ensure safety. Be sure to read these instructions prior to installing the product. Be sure to read the section, Safety of the Installation Manual. To ensure safety, have a qualified person perform installation wiring in accordance with laws and regulations. *This Inverter can not operate without the Master Box (EOW-MBX03-US) *This inverter can be installed outdoors or indoors. *The mounting location should be free of obstacle and safely accessible for servicing. Attention All electrical installations must be performed in accordance with the local electrical standards and the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA 70 or the Canadian Electrical Code CSA C22.1. The electrical connection of the inverter must be performed by qualified persons only. Ensure that no cables used for electrical connection are damaged. Ensure that the front enclosure of the inverter is attached correctly.
1. System Setting Time/Date 1. Supply power to the Master Box. Turn the POWER switch ON. The Time/Date Setting Screen is only shown during initial startup. Be sure to set the time and date during startup. 2. Press UP or DOWN button to change the value at the cursor point. 3. Press ENTER button to move the cursor to next item. Press BACK button to move the cursor to previous item. If the system has not operated for at least 30 minutes when changing settings, it automatically returns to the PV Power Status Screen for the entire system. Cursor Time/Date Setting Screen 4. To save the changed date and time, move the cursor to seconds the second item, and press ENTER button. The screen shifts to the PV Power Status Screen for the entire system. PV Power Status Screen (Entire system) System Setting 1. Repeatedly press MODE button to switch mode to System/Parameter Setting screen. 2. Press UP or DOWN button on the System/Parameter Setting Screen, and select 1 System Setting. System/Parameter Setting Screen 3. Press ENTER button. The System Setting Screen is shown. System Setting Screen Number of Inverter Connections Up to 20 inverters can be connected to a single Master Box. 1. Press UP or DOWN button on the System Setting Screen, and select 2 No. of INV. The Number of connected Inverters Screen appears. 3. Press UP or DOWN button to change the value. If the system has not operated for at least 30 minutes when changing settings, it automatically returns to the PV Power Status Screen for the entire system. System Setting Screen 4. Number of Master Box Connections The number of Master Boxes connected to the Master Station is set on the Master Station. Up to 9 Master Boxes can be connected to the Master Station. 1. Press UP or DOWN button on the System Setting Screen, and select 3 No. of BOX. The Number of connected Master Boxes Screen appears. System Setting Screen 3. Press UP or DOWN button to change the value. If the system has not operated for at least 30 minutes when changing settings, it automatically returns to the PV Power Status Screen for the entire system. 4. Press ENTER button. The changed values are set, and the system returns to the System Setting Screen. Press BACK button to return to the System Setting Screen without changing settings. Number of Maser Box Connections Screen 2. Starting / Stopping Operation All Inverter 1. Press MODE button to show the PV Power Status Screen for the entire system. 2. Press START/STOP button. Start/stop operation of all connected inverters. PV Power Status Screen (Entire system) Stop Operation Screen (Entire system) Individual Inverter 1. Press MODE button to show the PV Power Status Screen for the entire system. 2. Press UP or DOWN button to show the individual inverter as start or stop. Check the inverter address as INV 01 INV 20. The PV Power Status Screen of the connected inverter changes each time UP or DOWN button is pressed. 3. Press START/STOP button. Start/stop operation of the displayed inverter. Operation is not changed for inverters that are not displayed. 3. Mode Selection 1. Repeatedly press MODE button to switch mode. The mode switches each time MODE button is pressed, as shown below. Pressing BACK button when in [System Status] info MODE or [Sys/Set Value] Set MODE switches back to PV Power Status MODE. 4. Total Power 1. Press UP or DOWN button on the System Status Information Screen, and select 4 Total Power. System Status Information Screen The Total Power Screen appears. Pressing UP or DOWN button switches the display of the total Power between the entire system and individual inverters. Press BACK button to return to the System Status Information Screen. 5. Error History 1. Press UP or DOWN button on the System Status Information Screen, and select 3 Event History. The Event History Screen appears. System Status Information Screen Check Error History 1. Press UP or DOWN button on the Event History Screen, and select 1 Error Hstry. The display appears. Information for the stopped inverter is displayed in order the latest error event. (Date and time of occurrence, Inverter Unit Identification Name, Error Code, and Error Details) Refer to Error Code list. Pressing UP or DOWN switches the display of the Error History for scroll. The Error History retains a maximum of 512events. A four-digit Error Code is shown Using alphanumeric characters depending on the detail of the error. For details, ask your service person. Press BACK button to return to the System Status Information Screen. Event History Screen Date and time of occurrence Inverter Unit identification Error History Screen Error Code, Error Details Inverter Unit, DC/DC Identification name Clear Error History 1. Press UP or DOWN button and select No History Data page of [Error] menu. The Clear History Screen appears. Error History Screen 3. Press ENTER button. All events in the Error History are cleared, and the system returns to the System Status Information Screen. 7. Parameter Setting 1. Press UP or DOWN button on the System Setting Screen, and select 2 Parameter Set. The Parameter Setting Screen appears. Pressing UP or DOWN button to switch the parameter item. Press BACK to return to the System/Parameter Setting Screen. Refer to Parameter Setting Items. System/Parameter Setting 3. Press UP or DOWN button to select the parameter item, and press ENTER button. Parameter Setting Screen 4. Press UP or DOWN button to change the parameter, and press ENTER button. The changed parameters are set, and the system returns to the Parameter Setting Screen. If the system has not operated for at least 30 minutes when changing settings, it automatically returns to the PV Power Status Screen for the entire system.
