A GUIDE TO ADVERITSING MATERIAL DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS NETWORK TEN & MCN NETWORK TEN and MCN, 2017 1
1. Material Deadlines The current material deadlines for Network Ten are shown on page 3. These include the deadlines for: Material Instructions (MI's) TVC material bookings (via Adstream, Dubsat or IMD) CAD bookings, via Free TV. IMPORTANT PLEASE READ It is imperative that all deadlines are met to make sure that spots go to air as scheduled. This ensures that the Traffic department has time to check that all required material is on-hand and approved for transmission. It also allows time to make changes to a commercial if there is a problem with audio / visuals etc. If deadlines are not met your spots may be scheduled to a later date or deleted and charged. If there is a problem with meeting any of the deadlines listed, you must contact your traffic representative via phone or MCNTraffic@foxtel.com.au before the scheduled deadline, to discuss the situation and arrange for an extension, if available. During Public Holiday periods or at other special times the Network Deadlines will be revised, and MI's, material and CAD will be required earlier than usual. You will be informed of these revised deadlines in advance if you have activity booked during this period. We will not download a schedule without all commercials having a material booking on Adstream, Dubsat or IMD, or without a CAD approval number provided by Free TV. Commercials without material bookings or CAD approval may be removed from the schedule. You will be contacted by your Sales representative if your spots have been affected. 2

4. CAD Approval All commercials shown must have classification approval (CAD) issued by Free TV Australia. The CAD number determines where the commercial may be shown and any restrictions on when it may be aired. Free TV requires all materials to be delivered two (2) days in advance of when the CAD approval number is required. We will not download a schedule if any spots do not have CAD. If your commercial does not have CAD approval before download, your spots will be moved to later dates or deleted and charged. Please note that Free TV gets very busy towards the end of the week to ensure your commercial is approved for broadcast please make sure to submit your materials to Free TV as early as possible. Any changes to existing commercials, even minor changes such as a change of address or phone number, must be resubmitted to Free TV and you will be given a new CAD number. We will not accept a revised commercial without a new CAD number. More information can be found at: http://www.freetv.com.au/ ph: (02) 8968 7200 5
