LUCAS NANO 600 Series PROFESSIONAL SOUND TO GO > The LUCAS NANO 600 series packs professional audio performance into the most compact format. If you re a musician, DJ or presenter seeking a small, light sound system and not wanting to sacrifice audio quality for portability, then this is the perfect PA for you. One system consists of a powered subwoofer and two satellites. The latter stow neatly in the back of the sub so you can easily carry this lightweight, 16.3 kg/36 lbs. system with just one hand. The LUCAS NANO 600 series features three models: LUCAS NANO 600, LUCAS NANO 608i, and the latest addition to the family: LUCAS NANO 602. Each is equipped with a different control panel on the subwoofer, and with it a different feature set (more on this on pages 12/13). OPTIMIZED FOR 2.1 STEREO SYSTEM PERFORMANCE If you re an entertainer, pianist, wedding DJ, or a singer or musician in a band, you can set up a high-quality, 2.1 stereo sound system in seconds flat to cater to audiences of up to 120 people. Simply screw the two satellites on to speaker stands and plug in speaker cords to connect them to the subwoofer. TWIN STEREO SYSTEM: FOR TWICE THE PUNCH If you need more power to play bigger gigs, you can combine two LUCAS NANOs as a twin stereo system. One cable is all it takes. This setup lets you cover audiences of up to 200 people. It doesn t matter which of the 600 models you connect every combination will work. And as an added perk, a twin stereo setup not only delivers twice the power, it also gives you more inputs to play with. ALSO EXCELS AS AN ELEGANT MONO SYSTEM With just a few twists of the wrist, you can set up LUCAS NANO as a sweet mono system to do your thing as a singer/songwriter or presenter. A CLEAR SOUND EVERYWHERE IN THE ROOM LUCAS NANO satellites 90 horizontal directivity is more tightly focused than most other compact sound reinforcement systems pattern of throw. THIS HAS TWO HUGE ADVANTAGES THAT BENEFIT YOUR PERFORMANCE: STAGE 1. Stereo sound with zero compromise! With this highly directional throw pattern, the earliest reflections occur much further back in the room than they do with the larger throw patterns of wide-dispersion column systems. The earlier that reflections occur, the sooner reflected and direct sound will overlap, with undesirable results like feedback and muddy, unfocused audio (see upper graphic). This can happen just a few meters from the stage, which often leads to muddy sound in the middle of the room. With a LUCAS NANO stereo setup, however, the sound remains clear and transparent throughout the room (see lower graphic). Generic Wide-Angle Stereo PA (150 dispersion) Sound reflections occur earlier, resulting in a poorer sound quality throughout the room. STAGE 2. The system s direct sound and sonic energy are focused towards the audience. This means your music and voice carry further out into the room, remaining crisp and articulate all the way up to the high frequency range so that the listeners in the back row can also enjoy well-balanced sound with great speech intelligibility (see lower graphic). ACCESSORIES STEREO STAND ADD-ON This set consists of two König & Meyer adjustable tripods, two speaker cables with Neutrik speakon connectors, and a carry bag. S-CONNECT POLE LN Cable-free, signal-carrying distance pole for attaching the satellites to the LUCAS NANO subwoofer. Includes carry bag; length adjustable anywhere between 83 cm and 137 cm.
