INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the Vanco S-VGA 1x2 or 1x8 Splitter over Category 5e/Cat6 Cable, These products allow for the transmission of longer audio and video signal distances being achieved between the sources and displays. These VGA Splitters are designed to provide a means of distributing up to 2 or 8 VGA audio and video signals respectively to other VGA devices without signal degradation. A means of adjusting gain and skew is provided to accommodate varying cable distances. The receivers required for connecting to the VGA Splitter Module are available separately, MilesTek Part Number 90-12113. CONNECTION AND OPERATION 1) Connect the single S-VGA source to the main S-VGA Input using a S-VGA cable. 2) Connect VGA output of the Sender to a Local Display and Audio Output of the Sender to a Local Speaker. 3) Connect each CAT-5e/6 cable to both the Output of the S-VGA Splitter and Input of the Receivers 4) Connect Outputs of Receivers to Displays 5) Plug in all Power Supplies Attention: Insert / Extract cable gently. S-VGA 1 x 8 Splitter/Extender over Category 5e/Cat6 Cable TROUBLESHOOTING If the product doesn t appear to be functioning, make certain that the source and the destination device connected to the unit are functioning correctly by connecting both devices together using a VGA cable with a length 3 meters (10 ft or) less. Make certain that the problem is not caused by overly long VGA or Cat 5e cables. If the signal is present under these conditions, make certain that the power is present to the product. If it is, measure the cable length you are attempting to use between the sources to the splitter and the splitter to the monitor. The input VGA cables should be 45 feet or less in length and the output VGA cables must be less than 45 feet long and all cables should be premium quality. Lastly, inspect the cables and connectors for damage. LIABILITY STATEMENT Every effort has been made to ensure that this product is free of defects. Should this product, in Vanco s opinion, prove defective within this warranty period, Vanco, at its option, will repair or replace this product without charge. Any defective parts replaced become the property of Vanco. This warranty does not apply to those products which have been damaged due to accident, unauthorized alterations, improper repair, modifications, inadequate maintenance and care, or use in any manner for which the product was not originally intended.
