BAYOU CITY BOOK FESTIVAL PRESENTED BY VENDOR & EXHIBITOR HANDBOOK
BAYOU CITY BOOK FESTIVAL PRESENTED BY Join us, April 3-8, 2017 at the Bayou City Book Festival at the various Lone Star College campuses to celebrate authors, books, and the Houston community. Come celebrate the joys of literacy and literary endeavors with LIVE music, information booths, food trucks, unique programming for all ages, book stores, exhibitors, and of course, authors from around the world! This week-long event is geared toward the whole family. The inaugural 2016 Bayou City Book Festival (formerly the Lone Star Book Festival) was a great success over the course of two days drawing a crowd of more than 2,000 faculty, students, staff, and community members at the Lone Star College-Kingwood campus. We involved the City of Houston with seven community sponsors and more than 20 exhibitors with goods for purchase. We are excited about the success of our first event and looking forward to expanding to a week-long festival event. With positive feedback, additional programming, and world-class authors, our goal is to reach an audience of 5,000 in 2017 and to establish the Bayou City Book Festival as a must-see event within the City of Houston. Thank you for your generous support and we look forward to working with you this year. Best, Chelsie Meredith Director, Bayou City Book Festival
