July 22 - August 6 The Fort Wayne Civic Theatre production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast Music by Alan Menken Lyrics by Howard Ashman & Tim Rice Book by Linda Woolverton Originally Directed by Robert Jess Roth Originally Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions Directed by John Tolley Musical - Rated G Arts United Center Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's modern classic, Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Menken and Tim Rice. The tale as old as time tells the story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity. See all the beloved animated characters come to life on the Civic stage! Save the date for Brunch with Belle! Sunday, July 30 at noon prior to the matinee. Tickets on sale June 1 - Season ticket holders will be able to add-on the luncheon at that time. Hosted by the Civic Theatre Guild.

September 8-17 Fort Wayne Civic Theatre Presents Jekyll & Hyde Conceived for the stage by Steve Cuden & Frank Wildhorn Book and Lyrics by Leslie Bricusse Music by Frank Wildhorn Orchestrations by Kim Scharnberg Arrangements by Jason Howland Directed by Ranae Butler Musical - Rated PG Arts United Center An evocative tale of two men one, a doctor, passionate and romantic; the other, a terrifying madman. The tale of two women one, beautiful and trusting; the other, beautiful but trusting only herself. Both women are in love with the same man and both unaware of his dark secret. A devoted man of science, Dr. Henry Jekyll is driven to find a chemical breakthrough that can solve some of mankind's most challenging medical dilemmas. Rebuffed by the powers that be, he decides to make himself the subject of his own experimental treatments, accidentally unleashing his inner demons. The epic struggle between good and evil comes to life on stage in the musical phenomenon, Jekyll & Hyde. Based on the classic story by Robert Louis Stevenson and featuring a thrilling score, Jekyll & Hyde has mesmerized audiences all over the world.

November 4-19 Fort Wayne Civic Theatre Presents Irving Berlin's White Christmas Based on the Paramount Pictures Film, Written for the Screen by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama and Melvin Frank Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin Book by David Ives & Paul Blake Original stage production directed by Walter Bobbie Directed by Becky Niccum Musical - Rated G Arts United Center Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis put together a successful song-anddance act after returning home from World War II. With romance in mind, they follow a pair of beautiful singing sisters to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. Their efforts to save the Inn create a beautiful blend of romantic and comic moments brought to life on stage in song and dance numbers. Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical adaptation features seventeen Irving Berlin songs including "Blue Skies," "I Love A Piano," "Count Your Blessings (Instead of Sheep)" and the perennial favorite, "White Christmas."

February 17 - March 4 Fort Wayne Civic Theatre Presents La Cage Aux Folles Book by Harvey Fierstein Music and Lyrics by Jerry Herman Based on the play by Jean Poiret Directed by Phillip H. Colglazier Musical - Rated PG Arts United Center If you remember the movie The Bird Cage with Robin Williams, then you know the original story of the Tony Award winning Broadway musical La Cage Aux Folles! Often revived, most recently in a 2010 production, La Cage Aux Folles remains one of the all-time biggest hits of musical theatre. After twenty years of un-wedded bliss Georges and Albin, two men partnered for better-or-worse, get a bit of both! Georges' son (fathered during a one-night fling) announces his impending marriage to the daughter of a bigoted, right-wing politician. Further complicating the situation is the "family business." Albin and Georges run a drag nightclub in St. Tropez, where Albin is the star performer "Zaza." Georges reluctantly agrees to masquerade as "normal" when he meets the family of the bride-to-be. But Albin has other plans, with hilarious results.

B uyer C E & LL A A hit comedy inspired by Barbra March 16-25 R A one-man show starring Civic favorite AJ Lorenzini Fort Wayne Civic Theatre Presents Buyer & Cellar by Jonathan Tolins Directed by Gregory Stieber Comedy - Rated PG Parkview Physicians Group ArtsLab Theatre Alex More has a story to tell. A struggling actor in L.A., he takes a job working in the Malibu basement of the beloved megastar, Barbra Streisand. One day, the Lady Herself comes downstairs! It feels like real bonding in the basement, but will their relationship ever make it upstairs? This outrageous comedy ponders the price of fame, the cost of things, and the oddest of odd jobs. Winner of the 2014 2015 Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Solo Show, Jonathan Tolins has concocted an irresistible one-man play from the most peculiar of fictitious premises. Plan to join us for our annual fundraiser where local CEOs, celebrities and community leaders take the stage for a spirited reading of a parody written and directed by Phillip H. Colglazier. The evening includes fabulous food and both live & silent auctions. All proceeds benefit Fort Wayne Civic Theatre. Save The Date! Saturday, October 14
