He had just finished his lunch and his afternoon nap so he was wired and ready to play. His mother, older brother and a colleague were present at the time that the sample was acquired. E: Is that Caroline? Can I see? 4) C: yeah look. {child pushes the train in my direction}

A: XXXX Joy talking with older brother (conversation is not audible but can be heard in the background), while child is brushing her hair telling her she will get a lollipop at the end of it 10) C: It s real. 11) C: He s real {pointing to the train}. 12) C: Momma Thomas is real. M: Yes, Thomas is real. 13) C: Yeah he s a choo choo train. J: Oh ok hold on (talking with other child). {Child was running around with the train and fell} 14) C: Oww. M: Oh come here baby what happened? E: Did you hurt yourself Anthony?

E: Does mommy tell you a story before you go to bed? (older child talking in the background) 24) C: No. {shakes head no} E: No? She doesn t tell you a story? 25) C: Yeah she does. {child runs into his room to show me the storybooks} 26) C: See look {child holds out the book to me} E: What story is that? 27) C: I read this story at night. {pointing to the storybook} E: Can you show me your favourite story Anthony?

E: Is that your favourite? 34) C: Read! {child was gesturing to read the story and started to open up the book and flip the pages} E: Ok can you show me what pooh is doing? {pointing to a page} E: What s he doing here? 35) C: Look {child points to page} 36) C: Roo is playing with the boat. E: Oh he s playing in the boat? Who is pooh s favourite friend? 37) C: Pooh bear E: Pooh bear is his own favourite friend?

E: Do you sleep with pooh? 54) C: Yes. {child nods head yes, screams and jumps off the bed} E: Do you sleep with him Anthony? 55) C: Yeah. {nods head in agreement} 56) C: I sleep with lamy. {his name for a sheep stuffed animal} E: How come you sleep with lamy? E: Ok let s make something, what can we make? 86) C: I break it, I break it. {pulling blocks apart telling me he is breaking the tower} E: Ok let s make it now J: What s this Anthony? {showing him a cow flashlight} {Child laughs and covers his eyes} 87) C: You can t get me my eyes. J: Is it getting you in your eyes? E: What is that Anthony? 88) C: A cow. E: A cow? What sound does a cow make?

Are we going to build something or are we going to take it apart? 92) C: We going to build something. E: A tower? 93) C: Yeah. E: Ok let s build a tower. What color do you want the tower to be? 94) C: Blue. E: Blue? What other color? 95) C: Blue. E: Ok you make yours blue I m going to make mine yellow.
