momit HOME App 1 - Start - When you have finished registering the devices, you can start enjoying the momit Home App. - The first screen you see will be the control screen. This screen contains the main functions of the App and with it you will be able to control your momit Home. At the top of the screen you will find the home that you are controlling, and you can navigate through the homes that you have registered to your account, scrolling left and right with your finger (Example: Vacation house, home, Grandma s house) This screen has a bar where you can find the following functions: Control panel, statistics, calendars, My Budget, add users and adjust. The information shown at the bottom of the screen depends on the function that you have selected, but it will always refer to your device. The main screen includes the temperatures of the home, the weather forecast, the geolocalization of users, battery level and mode of control by which you can control the state of your device from manual to automatic or turn it off. - In the top left corner you will see the icon to open the lateral menu. 6

2 - Device You can control the state of your device from the main screen, and also you have the option to modify the same data from the adjust tab. 2.1 Control panel a. State of operation You will find a bar with the following options: manual, auto and off. - Manual: Control the temperature manually. - Auto: Control the temperature automatically through the planning of advanced functions such as the calendar, My Budget, weather forecast, and geolocalization. - Off: Select this mode to turn off your momit Home. When this mode is selected, the elements on the screen are reduced to a lower brightness. However, the actual temperature will still be displayed. In this mode, momit Home will not do anything until you turn it back on by pushing manual or auto. - Standby: When your house reaches the desired temperature, the device will enter standby mode and the boiler will turn off. On the App screen, the flame icon will disappear from the left. - Offline: If the device is not connected to the internet, a screen will appear with the momit Home icon and a message telling you that the device is disconnected and that you should verify your internet connection. Manual mode Off mode Offline mode 7

b. Temperature b.1 Ambient temperature: Appears in the center of the screen, bigger and just above the set temperature. b.2 Set temperature: It is shown below the ambient temperature, and is a bit smaller. You can set this temperature through the calendar function, or you can adjust it manually pushing the + or that appear below the displayed temperature. The background color of the app will adapt to the ambient temperature that the device detects, following a range of cold or warm colors. The color scheme used is the following: 8

3 - Statistics Selecting this tab will display a summary of the state of the device. You can navigate through the statistics of the different devices by opening the screen from the left. By pushing each of the options (Temperature, Humidity, Consumption), you will get more detailed statistics. To see the graph, tilt your phone horizontally. a. Temperature: The statistics of temperature are shown by day and by device. The graph shows hour by hour the ambient temperature of the device, and also the outside temperature of the home. You can also see previous days by opening the screen from the right. b. Humidity: The statistics of humidity are displayed per day. The graph will display hour by hour the humidity that the device reads, and also the humidity outside the home. You can navigate through previous days by opening the screen to the right. c. Consumption: In this graph you will see the total consumption time of your home and the amount of energy consumed in kw. The statistics of consumption are shown by home daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. When you look at the daily and weekly consumption, you can see the breakdown of consumption by room or space of your home. When you view the monthly or annual consumption, you will see the average expense of your whole home by day or by month. 9

4 - Schedule The schedule is the mode of momit Home that programs the heating of your home according to your habits and schedules. Schedule is the third icon that appears at the top of the screen. Here you can see the temperature and the time it starts from a new section or the finalization of one already active. By pushing the icon you can create a new schedule to program intervals of temperature or access the ones you have already saved. When a schedule is created, you will be able to activate it by selecting the verification box to the left, marking it with a check. To edit a schedule select it and push Apply. Every schedule has a section number that saves the time of start and finish. You can create as many sections as you wish for a calendar and add them. Simply select new section and complete the formula in which you decide the start time, end time, and the days in which to apply it. Every schedule has a graph that shows the sections that contain each day of the week. Selecting any of the sections allows you to edit them. If you don t want any schedule active, just uncheck the ones you have selected. Whenever your device is not controlled by the schedule, you have to turn on or off the heating manually. 10

5 - My Budget My Budget is the function that allows you to determine how much you want to spend on your energy bill. To use it, we need some data of you home and that all of your devices are functioning with an assigned schedule. Without these we cannot predict your expense. Configuration of My Budget 4.1. Select the tab My Budget, that you will find under the name of your home with this icon. If this is the first time you have entered, you should start the assistant to complete the data of your installation by selecting start. 4.2. Indicate the power of your heating system. You can find this in the manual that it came with attached, or by entering the data of the model on the Internet. 4.3. Determine the billing period: monthly or weekly. 4.4. Then, select the day in which your energy billing period starts: if you have chosen the monthly option you can choose the day of the month (1 to 31) and if you chose the weekly option you can choose the day of the week (Monday to Sunday). 4.5. Choose the type of rate you have hired: with or without schedule discrimination. Some companies have schedules where kw has a higher or lower price depending on the moment of the day (i.e day/night). If this is your rate, then select with schedule discrimination. If your rate is without Schedule discrimination, please enter the price you pay per kw/h. In the case that your rate is with Schedule discrimination, you should enter the different prices that apply, at the different hours. For this, you should complete the formula with different sections of billing that work for you. - Type of consumption: Peak or low. Peak consumption is the period of time where you consume the most, which is the most costly to your bill and applies generally to the labor schedule. Low period is when you consume the least amount of energy, like at night and early morning. 11

- The Price of kw: you can find this number on your energy bill or on the website of your energy company. - The start and end time is what applies to Price. 4.6. Enter all of the set schedules and their corresponding prices, keeping in mind that you can t employ times of the day without an assigned price, or times with more than one price. When this is completed, My Budget will make a series of calculations related to your home to obtain an estimation with the most possible precision. These calculations will sharpen if you use your heating system habitually. When these calculations are made, you can see them on the main screen of My Budget, which consists of many parts. At the top you can find a pause icon, which will show you when it has established a cost objective. Pushing this button will pause My Budget, in case you wish to stop using it. Apart from the pause icon, you will find the day of billing and the date of the bill (month or week of the year), and a menu of options that can be opened and include the option to edit data of installation that will bring you to a new assistant to fill in the data of your home. This can be useful in case you change your electric plan. In the middle you will find the graph that shows your actual cost, the estimation cost and the objective cost. Immediately after, you will find where you can manage your objective cost. In this you will find the arrows for forward and back so that by dividing the estimated previous costs it establishes an objective cost for the period. After a modification of objective cost, we will notify you of the changes we will make to follow your objective. With this notification you will be able to see the temperature reduction that will be made, and in which sections, and ultimately the calendars that will be affected. To apply any changes your confirmation will be necessary, as no change will be made without your authorization beforehand. The tab on the left, Save tips, in which we give you advice to improve the use of your system and optimize your consumption. The use of My Budget is reflected on the main screen of the app with a series of messages that will work towards advising your progress and how to improve your objective cost. Save tips 12

6 - Add user If you wish to give permission to other users to control your momit Home, you must select the + and then add the name and email of the new user. Then it will send them an invitation, which they must accept to gain access to the device. Until they accept the invitation, it will appear as pending on the bottom of the screen. At the top of the screen will appear the list of invited persons. By selecting each person, you can modify their permissions. To edit the data of those invited, select the edit button. If you wish to delete a user, select the delete option. 13

7 - Adjustments a. Name of device You can modify the name of your device. b. Calibration On occasion it is possible to produce variations of the measurement of temperature, caused by external sources of heat. With this option you can adjust the temperature to counteract this effect. c. Hysteresis The hysteresis refers to the existing difference between the actual temperature and the objective temperature (temperature set with your device), so that it can turn on or off the heating. It is the assigned margin of the momit temperature so that it stops or starts working to maintain the desired temperature. d. Geolocalization d.1 Activated Geo mode You can activate or deactivate the geolocalization by simply pushing the square to the right of this option. d.2 Adjust Geo Selecting this option opens a new window which will display your address and the radius of the geolocalization that you have selected. You can always change the address and radius as you want. e. End of manual changes You can select this option so that the device returns to automatic mode at a determined hour, after having completed the manual changes. 14

8 - Lateral Menu In the top left corner you will find the lateral menu. When selected, it will open and you can access: a. My account b. Add device c. Help d. End Session a. My account In this tab you can make adjustments and modifications of the following information (see second picture). b. Add device In this option you can create a new home with a new device. c. Help If you have any difficulties with your device you can find the solution in the frequently asked questions section. d. End Session Select to log off from your App session. 15
